Volume 77 Number 10 December 2011 24 Pages Superintendent’s Message Janet Sifferman, Superintendent It has certainly been a busy and eventful fall season and the winter holidays are high on the horizon. While the district has experienced some unique challenges so far this year, we also have much for which we are thankful as well as people and events that have inspired us. Adversity reminds us of what is truly important and reaffirms the strong and cohesive “family” we have here at Hartland Consolidated Schools. Our teachers, administrators, students and families continue to work together to deliver and achieve educational excellence. I am extremely proud to be the superintendent of a district that can persevere in both good times and bad and continue to put our children first. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support and send my wish to all for a wonderful holiday season!
