In 2009, Crocus Group signed a contract with Inter Continental Hotels Group, laying out the plans for the construction and management of a Holiday Inn (51 stories, 87,015 m²). Music festival ZHARA

In July 2016, Baku hosted ZHARA («Heat»), an international music festival organized by singer and musician EMIN, Honored Artist of Russia Gregory Leps, and Sergey Kozhevnikov, founder of Russian Radio and the Golden Gramophone Awards.

The festival brought together performances from some of the leading artists today, including Philipp Kirkorov, Stas Mikhailov, Ani Lorak, Nikolay Baskov, Svetlana Loboda, Timati, Alexey Vorobyov, and Anna Sedokova, among many others.
