Madrid- Ayllon- Burgos De Osma- Monasterio De Silos- Covarrubias- Burgos.- Welcome to your Europamundo Trip Style!!! We continue towards BURGO DE OSMA, an ancient and monumental episco- pal city, located in the province of Soria and known for its history and beautiful Cathedral (entrance included). We visit the SAINT DOMINGO OF SILOS MONASTERY (admission includ- CATEDRAL BURGOS ed), a place of spiritual refuge and one the most beautiful places to admire the Spanish Romanic Art, unique in Europe. Then we arrive at the noble city of CO- VARRUBIAS, with its old walled case, its typical Houses. In the Collegiate Church we can admire the triptych and also visit the tomb of Fernán Gonzalez, first count of Castilla. and its interesting vintage weapons collection. After a brief journey, arrival and accommodation in the city of BURGOS. Day 02 . Burgos- Atapuerca- Lerma- Palencia.- After breakfast time to get to know the city of BURGOS, crossroads; its spectacular Gothic Cathedral stands out, built for more than three centuries, where the tomb of El Cid and his wife Da. Jimena, is located, as well as the Holy Mary´s Arch and the House of Cordón. Next we will arrive at ATAPUERCA FIELDS (entrance included), a UNESCO World Herit- age Site, where human remains of more than 900.000 years old were discovered, the Homo Antecessor (in case of having capacity and reservation problems in the Atapuerca site, we can visit the Museum of The Evolution of Man). We arrive at LERMA, with a grandiose appearance with its imposing Ducal Palace (today COVARRUBIAS National Parador). We can rest and have a coffee before continuing to Land of Fields where PALENCIA is, the royal residence and palace where the first university of Spain was found- ed in 1208, and then take a walk through its beautiful streets, squares and churches. Palencia- Valladolid- Segovia- Madrid.- Breakfast and departure to VALLADOLID, capital of The Kingdom of Castile and for 6 years of the Spanish Empire, a historical complex made up of Palaces, noble houses, churches museums and where we can also experiment tapas in its bars. We are heading to SEGOVIA, another UNESCO World Heritage city. We will know its Alázar, where we will stop to take a beautiful picture, its well-preserved Roman aqueduct and its pedestrian streets. Lisbon. - In the morning, we will go on a tour of the city in the morning during which we will visit Belem District which was the departure point of Portuguese sailors who crossed the oceans in the 15th century. At night we will take Elevador Da Gloria to go to the Barrio Alto, where after enjoying the views from its viewpoint, we can take the oppor- tunity to walk through its typical steep streets or dine in one of the small restaurants or cafes in this place full of atmosphere and fashion. Day 03 . Lisbon - Lagos - Cabo San Vicente - Sagres - Algarve. - We will leave early for the south of Portugal. Beautiful landscapes crossing the long bridge over the Tagus. Arrival in the Algarve, the southern region of Portugal. We know the historic city of LAGOS with its port from where the Portuguese ships left CABO S. VICENTE for Brazil and its historic centre enclosed in its walls. Time for lunch. In the afternoon we travel to the westernmost tip of the European continent, between ravines and frequent wind sweep we get to know CABO SAN VICENTE. Évora - Marvao - Castelo de Vide - Tomar - Fátima. - Today we travel between beautiful Alentejo landscapes. We stopped at MARVAO, a very picturesque small town surrounded by walls that offers us a fantastic panoramic view of the region. After that, we visit CASTELO DA VIDE, with its castle and its old Jewish quarter, we can visit the old synagogue (nowadays a museum) or walk through the labyrinth of alleys in the city. After lunch we continue to TOMAR, a city dominated by the Convent of Christ (entrance included), an old castle - convent of the Templars. Arrival in FATIMA, one of the greatest references of the Marian cult in the world. First, we will stop at ALJUSTREL, the village where the three little shepherds were born and where we will be able to see Lucia´s house.
