THAT, based on the conceptual design of the proposed replacement street network included in this report, Council approve the next phase of the work program to inform a future decision on the removal of the viaducts including the development of an area plan for the Viaducts/Northeast False Creek (NEFC) generally as set out in Appendix B, involving all stakeholders, and report back within 24 months or sooner if feasible with: • Recommendations for amendments to the False Creek North Official Development Plan (ODP), • Draft Agreements with private landowners and the Provincial Government for securing rights-of-way, land exchanges, environmental remediation obligations, and, • A comprehensive financial analysis and strategy for the viaducts project.
