You will learn reading, writing, and communication skills that will help you to be a successful college student at CUNY. Frequently Asked Questions about CLIP 1. When do classes meet? Classes meet for 25 hours per week. Day and evening sessions are available. 2. Who may attend the program? Only students who have been admitted to a CUNY college may attend CLIP, including students who wish to learn more English before beginning college coursework or those referred to CLIP by a college advisor. 3. How long can I stay in CLIP? You may be enrolled in CLIP for up to one year. 4. Will I have to use my financial aid to pay for CLIP?
