Glasgow Caledonian University SCOTLAND, UK

Glasgow Caledonian University (informally GCU, Caledonian or Caley) is a public university in Glasgow, Scotland. It was formed in 1993 by the merger of The Queen's College, Glasgow (founded in 1875) and Glasgow Polytechnic (founded in 1971).[3]

In June 2017, the university's New York partner institution, which was founded in 2013, was granted permission to award degrees in the state, the first higher education institution founded by a foreign university to achieve this status. The University traces its origin from The Queen's College, Glasgow (founded 1875) and the Glasgow College of Technology (founded 1971). The Queen's College, which specialised in providing training in domestic science, received the Royal accolade of being named after Queen Elizabeth in its centenary celebrations in 1975. Queen Elizabeth was, herself, Patron of the College since 1944.[5] Glasgow Polytechnic, which was one of the largest central institutions in Scotland, offered externally validated degrees and diplomas in engineering, science, and the humanities: the first of which was a BA in Optics, followed by degrees in Social Sciences (1973) and Nursing.

GCU's main campus is in Glasgow city-centre. A second campus in London is home to the British School of . In September 2013 the university founded Glasgow Caledonian New York College, which is an independent partner institution whose Wooster Street campus is based in the city's SoHo district.

The British Columbia Institute of Technology (also referred to as BCIT), is a public polytechnic institute in Burnaby, British Columbia. The technical institute has five campuses located in the Metro Vancouver region, with its main campus in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Deakin University is a public university in Victoria, Australia. Established in 1974 with the passage of the Deakin University Act 1974, the university was named after the second Prime Minister of Australia, Alfred Deakin.

The Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (German: Duale Hochschule Baden- Württemberg, DHBW) is an institution of higher education with several campuses throughout the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The DHBW is the direct successor to the Staatliche Berufsakademie Baden-Württemberg. The first Berufsakademie was founded in 1974 as a new type of educational institution and recognized by the state of Baden-Württemberg in 1982. The École Pour l'Informatique et les Techniques Avancées (the "Graduate School of Computer Science and Advanced Technologies"), more commonly known as EPITA is a private French Grande École specialized in the field of computer science and software engineering. Created in 1984 by Patrice Dumoucel. It is a private engineering school, member since 1994 of IONIS Education Group, accredited by the Commission des titres d'ingénieur (CTI) to deliver the French Diplôme d'Ingénieur, and based at Le Kremlin-Bicêtre south of Paris.

In June 2013, EPITA becomes member of the Union of Independent Grandes Écoles, which includes 30 grandes écoles.

The school is part of IONIS Education Group. The first two years of studies are preparatory years. During these two years, students study mathematics, physics and electronics as well as algorithmics and computer science.

The third year is the first year of engineering studies, where students learn the fundamentals in information technology and software engineering. This year is also famous for its first month, during which students will be asked to make several projects, which generally lead them to code more than 15 hours per day. Third year students are known to say that "sleeping is cheating" and usually remember this year as their most painstaking year at EPITA.

Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences (German: Hochschule Osnabrück, formerly Fachhochschule Osnabrück) is a university of applied science in Lower Saxony, whose administrative centre is in Osnabrück. It has existed in its current form since 2003, having originally opened in 1971. Some of its departments can be traced back to engineering schools and other colleges operating as early as the 1950s. Since 1 January 2003, the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences has been a foundation with legal capacity under public law (§1 Stiftung FH-Osnabrück Verordnung, abbreviated in law to StiftVO-FHOS). The Saints Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje is the oldest and largest public university in North Macedonia. Kazan Federal University is located in Kazan, Russia. Founded in 1804 as Imperial Kazan University, famous mathematician Nikolai Ivanovich Lobachevsky served there as the rector from 1827 until 1846. Murdoch University is a public university in Perth, Western Australia, with campuses also in Singapore and Dubai. Southern Illinois University Edwardsville USA

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) is a public university in Edwardsville, Illinois, United States. SIUE was established in 1957 as an extension of Southern Illinois University Carbondale. It is the younger of the two major institutions of Southern Illinois University system, and, as of 2018, has the larger enrollment. The university offers graduate programs through its Graduate School.

The majority of SIUE's students are from Illinois, with out-of-state and international students for 18% of enrollment. The University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE Bristol) is a public research university, located in and around Bristol, England, which received university status in 1992.
