    Quando Boninsegna divenne “Bonimba” Il 2 maggio 1971, esattamente cinquant’anni fa, Roberto Boninsegna diventava “Bonimba”. Con un goal in acrobatica rovesciata, tuttora tra i più cliccati su Youtube e tuttora oggetto di tentativi di emulazione da parte di tutti i ragazzini italiani nei più sperduti campetti di calcio, questo fortissimo centravanti di sfondamento entrava nella sfera della leggenda del Dio Eupalla. Quella rovesciata, infatti, stimolò la fantasia del più grande creatore di neologismi calcistici, Gianni Brera, che coniò per lui questo nome che evocava una potenza calcisticamente metafisica. Bonimba: una parola che riprendeva sì, il nome del giocatore, ma anche riusciva a trasmettere l’idea della potenza esplosiva e pure quella di un oggetto elastico in grado di elevarsi in cielo. Brera aveva in passato già coniato epiteti e nomignoli per altri calciatori: a Gianni Rivera accollò la definizione di “abatino”, mentre Gigi Riva era Rombo di Tuono. Ma Bonimba era un vero e proprio neologismo di straordinaria efficacia. Tutt’oggi se si scrive su un motore di ricerca sul Web la parola “Bonimba”, viene automaticamente generata anche la parola “rovesciata”. Non la rovesciata in generale, ma quella rovesciata, del 2 maggio 1971. ytali è una rivista indipendente.     STAGIONE SPORTIVA 1970-71 E' una stagione stregata, sfortunatissima. Il Milan arriva vicino alla conquista dello scudetto e della Coppa Italia, ma finisce per perderle entrambe. Al posto di Sormani e Lodetti arrivano Biasiolo, Benetti, Villa e Zignoli. Il Milan sempre più Rocco e Rivera, parte molto bene in campionato (vittoria a Torino con la Juve 2-0 e nel derby 3-0) e alla fine del girone d’andata è imbattuto campione d’inverno. La prima sconfitta arriva con l’Inter alla 20° giornata. I nerazzurri si fanno sotto, i rossoneri perdono la loro tranquillità. Alla 23^ sono sconfitti a S. Siro (1-2) dal Varese. E’ il crollo. Scudetto all’Inter con 46 punti, secondo il Milan a 42. La beffa si ripropone in Coppa Italia. Qualificatosi per il gironcino finale a 4, i rossoneri si classificano primi alla pari col Torino.
