Where From Home? P4 ______Introduction Far From How Much? It took a while, but in 2022 it’s finally happening! The Gaymers are venturing on their biggest adventure yet! After many cozy game P4 nights, we will take the fun Far From Home! ______

Far From Home, an extra long weekend, a “glamping experience” if you will, full of games, coziness, big games (yes, IRL), and much, much more!

You’re welcome on Friday April 15th 2022, from 15h00. Once you’re installed and aren’t low on RAM to receive the latest update, then the fun can begin!

Most of the time you can play whatever you desire. Think of your favourite party game with people you might not know yet, a D&D one shot, or playing “Kubb” outside. Maybe you are more interested in playing a decade long Eurogame with other latin peasants, relaxing with a console game, challenge others to Just Dance, or train your poker face in a social deduction dance around the princess.

Because we are present on an enchanting location, surrounded by nature, you can also stretch your legs, or playing your favourite sport, with or without the EA loot boxes. We’ve also planned a lot of ‘big’ games. Maybe we will do a pathfinding challenge at night, an escape tent or a manhunt with Scotland Yard in the Westmalle forests. Although we’ll have to keep you in the dark about this in an unstable stable.

Every now and then we will interrupt the activities for cooking a good meal. Later, when you are in need for a quick nap or require some real sleep, we can accommodate you on one of the beds in the sleeping quarters, already provided with a free mattress and pillow upgrade.

After a good night’s rest on Tuesday 19-04-2022 we will start cleaning the premises. For those who are still hungry, you can help us clean up the leftovers. At 15h00. we will be leaving the amazing building, and bid you farewell with tears in our eyes.

Our adventure will take place on the premises of Hopper youth hostel “Drieboomkensberg”. Which is situated in the middle of the Kempen forests, close to Westmalle , located bet- ween Antwerp and Turnhout.

Domein Drieboomkensberg Sint Pauluslaan 14 2390 Westmalle Openbaar vervoer: • From the Antwerp Central train station: Bus 410 to bus stop “Westmalle Abdij”. • From the we advise to take the train from Breda to Brecht/Noorderkempen. We will provide a shuttle service from both the bus stop “Westmalle Abdij”, and the train station Brecht/ Noorderkempen for those taking public transportation. In the period before the event, you can consult the organization on where and when you could be picked up.

Far From How Much?

You want to join? How wonderful to hear that. A fine choice. Please purchase a ticket on the Gaymers EU site via www.gaymers.eu/events/gaymers-far-from-home. A ticket costs € 90, -.

The ticket price includes: the location, activities, material, meals, and an administrative fee. For drinks and snacks a certain amount is also included.

Do you want additional refreshments? We sell these through an extra consumption DLC for 5 or 10 euros. With which you can purchase extra drinks or snacks. For example: for € 1, you can buy a coke or a beer. A specialty beer (like Westmalle) cost more (€ 1,50). Other liquors you’ll have to bring yourself.

Attention: only 42 single beds are available at this event!

Cancelation

Are you unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances? Although the fact we can’t welcome you sad- dens us, we do understand. The following terms apply: - If you cancel your ticket before December 24 2021, you’ll get a full refund. - Canceling from December 24 up to April 4 will get you a partial refund of € 35, -. - From April 5th no refund is possible. 4 Gaymers Far From Home - 15/04/2022 till 19/04/2022 – www.gaymers.eu/events/gaymers-far-from-home What From Home?

• Mattress protector/fitted sheet, sleeping bag / bed sheets, pillowcase • Clothes • A set clothes that may become dirty / thrashed • Toiletries and towels • Kitchen towel • Small kitchen knife • Hiking shoes/ hiking boots • Medication (If needed you can notify the First Aid [email protected]) • Cash for consumptions (Card payments are optional, but a fee will be charged).

What could also be useful? You should not purchase this specifically for this purpose.

• fluorescent vests • small water guns • An extra pillow (in case the pillow provided is not comfortable enough) • Ear plugs (because of the loud squirrels) • Chargers for your electronics. • Flashlight

If we happen to think of other stuff, we need you to bring for the activities, we will let you know. Keep an eye out on the event!
