Svrěek) Pseudoboletus, nový rod řádu Boletales Pseudoboletus, a new genus of Boletales Josef Sutara Byl studován povrch třeně hřibů, které isou obvykle kladeny do rodů B o­ letu s a X erocom u s. Bylo zjištěno, že zástupci těchto dvou rodů mají povrch třeně plodný, tvořený kaulohymeniem s výtrusorodými kaulobazidiemi. Výjim­ kou v této skupině je druh Boletus parasiticus, jehož povrch třeně je sterilní, pokrytý trichodermem. Tento druh je zde oddělen do nového rodu nazvaného Pseudoboletus. Je navržena nová kombinace Pseudoboletus parasiticus. Druh Pseudoboletus parasiticus je podrobněji popsán. Je připojeno několik pozná­ mek k anatomii a taxonomii této skupiny hřibů. The stipe surface of the boletes which have been placed usually in the ge­ nera B oletu s and X erocom u s was studied. It was found that members of both these genera have the stipe surface fertile, composed of a caulohymenium with sporulating caulobasidia. An exception in this group is the species B o le ­ tus parasiticus whose stipe surface is sterile, covered with a trichodermium. This species is here separated into a new genus named Pseudoboletus. A new combination, Pseudoboletus parasiticus, is proposed. The species Pseudoboletus parasiticus is described in detail. Several notes on anatomy and taxonomy of this group of boletes are appended. U lupenatých hub [Agaricales] je povrch třeně zpravidla neplodný U hřibovitých hub (B o le t a le s ) je však odlišná situace. Velká většina hři­ bů má značnou část třeně plodnou, tvořenou více nebo méně organizo­ vaným kaulohymeniem s roztrušenými výtrusorodými kaulobazidiemi. O bazidiích na třeni hřibovitých hub již psala celá řada autorů (např. Melzer 1919, Němec 1926, Watling 1985 atd.]. Kaulohymenium má mno­ ho podobných rysů jako hymenium hymenoforu. Na třeni hřibů se vysky­ tuji i některé další struktury analogické se strukturami hymenoforu, např. laterální stratum, kaulosubhymenium apod. (viz Lohwag et Perin- ger 1937, Šutara 1989). Je známo, že znakům hymenoforu je obvykle přikládána značná taxonomická důležitost. Je tedy zřejmé, že u hřibo­ vitých hub by měly být považovány za taxonomicky významné i některé analogické znaky vyskytující se na povrchu třeně. Rada případů této pro­ blematiky byla již diskutována v některých dřívějších článcích (viz Suta­ ra 1987a,1987b], Při zkoumání histologické stavby skupiny hřibů zařazených obvykle do rodů B o le­ tus Fr. ss. stricto a X erocom u s Quél. jsem prostudoval povrch třeně následujících dru­ hů: Boletus aereus Bull.: Fr., Boletus appendiculatus Schaeff., Boletus auripes Peck, Boletus calopus Pers.: Fr., Boletus edulis Bull.: Fr., Boletus erythropus Pers., B oletu s fra g ilip es Martin, Boletus fragrans Vitt., Boletus jrostii Russell in Frost, Boletus gentilis (Quél.) Big. et Guill., Boletus griseus Peck, Boletus junquilleus (Quél.) Všechny výše uvedené druhy (až na jediný) mají podstatnou část třeně pokrytou plodným kaulohymeniem s větším nebo menším počtem kaulobazidií. Z celé této skupiny hřibů jenom druh Boletus parasiticus má třeň neplodný, pokrytý trichodermem. Tento druh je svými vlastnostmi natolik vý­ jimečný, že zasluhuje, aby byl umístěn do zcela samostatného rodu. Pro tento nový rod navrhuji jméno Pseudoboletus. 1 ČESKÁ MYKOLOGIE 45 (1—2) 1991 Pseudoboletus Šutara gen. nov. Genus Pseudoboletus cum generibus B oletu s et X erocom u s valde affinis est, sed su- perficie stipitis hymenio nullo tecta atque fructificatione parasitica discrepat. Typus: Boletus paraslticus Bull. 1790 : Fr. 1821. Rodová charakteristika: Pokožka klobouku tvořená tricho­ dermem. Trama rourek je přechodného typu mezi typem boletoidním a phylloporoidním, někdy je spíše boletoidní. Výtrusy pod světelným mikroskopem hladké, podobného tvaru, jaký mají výstrusy rodů B oletu s a X erocom u s. Cystidy hladkostěnné, neinkrustované, jednotlivě roztrou­ šené. Povrch třeně sterilní, pokrytý trichodermem. Pod pokožkou tře­ ně není přítomno laterální stratům. Roste paraziticky na zástupcích ro­ du Scleroderma Pers. Rod Pseudoboletus se od nejblíže příbuzných rodů B oletu s a X e r o c o ­ m us liší sterilním povrchem třeně a parazitickým způsobem života. Po­ dle současného stavu vědomostí patří do rodu Pseudoboletus pouze jeden druh — Pseudoboletus parasiticus. Není však vyloučeno, že tam náleží i druh Xerocomus astraeicola Imazeki, který roste paraziticky na zástup­ cích rodu A straeu s Morg. Tento japonský druh jsem bohužel zatím neměl možnost studovat a nemohu se tedy vyjádřit k jeho rodové příslušnosti. Pseudoboletus parasiticus (Bull. : Fr.) Sutara comb. nov. Boletus parasiticus Bulliard, Herb. Fr., t. 451, f. 1, 1790 (basionym) : Fries, Syst. My col. 1: 389, 1821. Versipellis parasitica (Bull. : Fr.) Quél., Enchir. p. 159, 1886. 9 Xerocomus parasiticus (Bull. : Fr.) Quél., Fl. Mycol., p. 418, 1888. Klobouk nejdříve polokulovitý, potom klenutý, nakonec rozložený, 25—50 (70) mm široký, kožově žlutý, žlutoolivový, žlutohnědý, hnědo- |i olivový nebo hnědý; povrch jemně plstnatý, ve stáří obvykle částečně oly- salý, za sucha někdy políčkovitě rozpukaný. Pokožka klobouku se po aplikaci čpavku zbarvuje do hnědá. Rourky až 6 mm dlouhé, nejprve světle žluté, potom citronově žluté či zlatožluté, nakonec žlutoolivové, žlutohnědé nebo hnědoolivové, široce připojené a obloukovitě sbíhavé na třeň. Póry podobně zbarvené jako stě­ ny rourek, v mládí drobnější, ale v dospělosti poměrně dost rozšířené a v místech, kde sbíhají na třeň (tj. okolo vrcholu třeně), nápadně lupe- novitě protáhlé. Otlačená místa na pórech nejprve slabě modrají a nako­ nec zvolna zhnědnou. Třeň 30—70 (90) mm dlouhý, 4—15 (20) mm tlustý, téměř válcovitý, ve spodní části zahnutý a směrem dolů vřetenovitě zašpičatělý. Povrcn třeně bez plastické ornamentiky (tj. bez síťky a bez žeber), v nejranněj­ ším mládí celý jemně plstnatý a olivově či hnědoolivově zbarvený, v po­ zdějších stadiích na světle žlutavém či žlutohnědavém podkladu jakooy poprášený tmavě hnědými plstnatými zrníčky nebo velice drobnými šu­ pinkami. D u ž n i n a světle žlutá v celé plodnici kromě tenké vrstvy nad rour­ kami, kde je sytě žlutá, a kromě spodní části třeně, kde je oranžová nebo až červenorezavá;

A total of 3,624 individuals were collected, which belonged one division, 1 class, 5 orders, 13 families, 33 genera, 131 species. The majority of the fruiting bodies belonged to orders Agaricales, Russulales, and Boletales, whereas a minority belonged to orders Cantharellales and Thelephorale. In Agaricales, there were 6 families, 9 genera, 49 species, and 1,343 individuals; in Russulales, 1 family, 2 genera, 35 species, and 854 individuals; in Boletales, 4 families, 19 genera, 40 species, and 805 individuals; in Cantharellales, 1 family, 2 genera, 5 species, and 609 individuals; and in Thelephorale, 1 family, 1 genus, 2 species, and 13 individuals. The most frequently observed families were Russulaceae (854 individuals representing 35 species), Boletaceae (652 individuals representing 34 species), and Amanitaceae (754 individuals representing 25 species). The greatest numbers of overall and dominant species and individual fruiting bodies were observed in July. Most species and individuals were observed at altitudes of 1~99 m, and population sizes dropped significantly at altitudes of 300 m and higher. Apparently, the highest diversity o of species and individuals occurred at climatic conditions with a mean temperature of 23.0~25.9 C, maximum temperature of o o 28.0~29.9 C, minimum temperature of 21.0~22.9 C, relative humidity of 77.0~79.9%, and rainfall of 300 mm or more.

These include the uplands of the Clees, Stiperstones and Long Mynd with their associated heath land, forested land such as the Forest of Wyre and the Mortimer Forest, the lowland bogs and meres in the north of the county, and agricultural land scattered with small woodlands and copses. This diversity makes Shropshire unique. The Shropshire Fungus Group has been in existence for 18 years. (Inaugural meeting 6th December 1992. The aim was to produce a fungus flora for the county. This aim has not yet been realised for a number of reasons, chief amongst these are manpower and cost. The group has however collected many records by trawling the archives, contributions from interested individuals/groups, and by field meetings. It is these records that are published here. The first Shropshire checklist was published in 1997. Many more records have now been added and nearly 40,000 of these have now been added to the national British Mycological Society’s database, the Fungus Record Database for Britain and Ireland (FRDBI). During this ten year period molecular biology, i.e. DNA analysis has been applied to fungal classification.

(2008): Xerocomus s. l. in the light of the present state of knowledge. – Czech Mycol. 60(1): 29–62. The definition of the generic limits of Xerocomus s. l. and particularly the delimitation of this genus from Boletus is very unclear and controversial. During his study of European species of the Boletaceae, the author has come to the conclusion that Xerocomus in a wide concept is a heterogeneous mixture of several groups of species. These groups are separated from each other by different anatomical and some other characters. Also recent molecular studies show that Xerocomus s. l. is not a monophyletic group. In agreement with these facts, the European species of Xerocomus s. l. whose anatomy was studied by the present author are here classified into the following, more distinctly delimited genera: Xerocomus s. str., Phylloporus, Xerocomellus gen. nov., Hemileccinum gen. nov. and Pseudoboletus. Boletus badius and Boletus moravicus, also often treated as species of Xerocomus, are retained for the present in the genus Boletus. The differences between Xerocomus s. str., Phylloporus, Xerocomellus, Hemileccinum, Pseudoboletus and Boletus (which is related to this group of genera) are discussed in detail. Two new genera, Xerocomellus and Hemileccinum, and necessary new combinations of species names are proposed. A key to the Boletales from Belize and the Dominican Republic is provided, followed by descriptions, drawings of the micro-structures and photographs of each identified species. Approximately 456 collections from Belize and 222 from the Dominican Republic were studied comprising 58 species of boletes, greatly augmenting the knowledge of the diversity of this group in the Caribbean Basin. A total of 52 species in 14 genera were identified from Belize, including 14 new species. Twenty-nine of the previously described species are new records for Belize and 11 are new for Central America. In the Dominican Republic, 14 species in 7 genera were found, including 4 new species, with one of these new species also occurring in Belize, i.e. Retiboletus vinaceipes. Only one of the previously described species found in the Dominican Republic is a new record for Hispaniola and the Caribbean.

Vengono evidenziate le carat- teristiche macro- e microscopiche della raccolta e forniti i risultati dell'analisi molecolare e l'albero filogenetico. Vengono proposte foto a colori di materiale fresco nonché dei caratteri microscopici. AI}STRACT It is reported the first finding in Sicily of Gymnopilus maritimus, a species described in2009 and so far found only in Sardinia. The macro- and microscopic characters of the collection are highlighted and the description is accompanied by the results of the molecular analysis and the relative phylogenetic tree. Colour photos of the collection and of microscopic characters are also provided. Key words: Gymnopileae, Gymnopilus maritimus,ITS, LSU, Laghetti di Marinello, Juncus acutus. Introduzione La Riserva Naturale Orientata "Laghetti di Marinello" si trova lungo la costa tirrenica della Sicilia nordorientale, nella parte settentrionale dei monti Peloritani, al centro dell'ampio golfo di Patti, ai piedi di Capo Tindari e a sud Ovest di Capo Mllazzo (38' 8' 26" N; 15o 3' 2" E); in quest'area sono state istituite numerose aree di interesse naturalistico come Zone di Protezione Speciale, per la protezione della avifauna (ZPS) e Siti di Interesse Comunitario (SIC). La Riserva si estende su una superficie di oltre 400 ettari e rappresenta uno degli ultimi esempi di am- biente costiero salmastro presenti nella Sicilia nord-orientale, dove habitat di que- sto tipo sono ormai quasi del tutto scomparsi a causa di interventi antropici.

Miller--Eastside Ecosystem Management Project--l, Biogeography of taxonomic group Macrofungi found within the boundaries of the Eastside Ecosystem Management Project (EEMP) include three major subdivisions--Basidiomycotina, Ascomycotma and Zygomycotina. The subdivision Basidiomycotina. commonly known as the “Basidiomycetes”, include approximately 15,000 or more species. Fungi such as mushrooms, puffballs and polypores are some of the more commonly known and observed forms. Other forms which include the jelly fungi, birds nest fungi, and tooth fungi are also members of the Basidiomycetes. The majority of the Basidiomycetes are either saprouophs on decaying wood and other dead plant material, or are symbiotic with the living cells of plant roots, forming mycorrhizal associations with trees and shrubs. Others are parasites on living plants or fungi. Basidiomycotina are distributed worldwide. The Ascomycotina is the largest subdivision of true fungi, comprised of over 2000 genera. The “Ascomycetes”, as they are commonly referred to, include a wide range of diverse organisms such as yeasts, powdery mildews, cup fungi and truffles. The Ascomycetes are primarily terrestrial, although many live in fresh or marine waters. The majority of these fungi are saprotrophs on decaying plant debris. lMany sapronophic Ascomycetes specialize in decomposing certain host species or even are restricted to a particular part of the host such as leaves or petioles. Other specialized saprouophic types include those fungi that fotrn kuiting structures only where a fire recently occurred or on the dung of certain animals Xlany other Ascomycetes are parasites on plants and less commonly on insects or other animals.

Th is paper attempts to compile available data on Turkish myxomycetes and macromycetes published between 1915 and February, 2005, and obtained from 294 publications. Two main lists of myxomycetes and macromycetes are given where the taxa are alphabetically arranged. Th e total number of correct names of species, recorded from Turkey and presented in both checklists, is 1778, including 177 myxomycetes and 1601 macromycetes. For each taxon, references are cited. An index of synonyms based on literature records from Turkey is appended. It includes 671 species and infraspecifi c taxa. Information about the species distribution in the European or/and Asian parts of Turkey is also given.
