Alexander Hacke Born 1965 in Berlin, Germany Alexander Hacke Born 1965 in Berlin, Germany MUSIC His early teenage years were spent writing, recording, releasing and performing music under the pseudonym Alexander von Borsig. At the tender age of 14 in 1980 he joined the German cult Band “Einstürzende Neubauten” which he performs and releases recordings with up till today. All throughout the eighties and up to the present he has collaborated with countless artists of various genres and produces records and score music for theater pieces, feature films and documentary movies. From 1986 -1992 he teamed up with the Australian band Crime And The City Solution, 1993 – 1999 he recorded and toured with Italian pop-icon Gianna Naninni, 1992 -1995 he formed the alternative country-music outfit Jever Mountain Boys, 1994 he recorded with Can-drummer Jaki Liebezeit for Japanese avant-garde star “Phew” In 2005 Alexander released his solo-CD “Sanctuary”(KoolArrow Label), a Road-Record, which he produced during a journey around the word. 2009 the EP “Doomed” 2011 “Hitman’s Heel”(Potomak Label) together with Danielle de Picciotto (For a list of the Einstürzende Neubauten Albums please go to to: http://www.neubauten.org/) 2012 Crime & The City Solution reform and record: “American Twilight” 2013/2014 “Ministry of Wolves” (Mick Harvey, Alexander Hacke, Danielle de Picciotto) The band was formed to compose film music for the theater piece “Republik der Wölfe” based on Grimms fairy tales for the Theater Dortmund, Germany. 2015 Release of Autobiography “Krach – Verzerrte Erinnerungen” on Metrolit Verlag, Germany Produced records for the English Band “Miranda Sex Garden”, French anarchist songwriter “Fred Alpi”, Australian “Devastations”, Czech “Vanessa”, Russian ”Deti Picasso”, Berlin based “Mutter”, Italian “Aedi”. Together they initiate multimedia performances, which they perform internationally: 2003/2004 “Bada Bing” a performance series presenting an eclectic mix of a new generation of Berlin bands, 2004/2005 “The History of Electricity” an electronic performance depicting electricity in its most unusual and abstract form 2005 -2007“Mountains of Madness” based on HP Lovecraft stories (inviting the English trio “ The Tiger Lillie’s” to participate), 2007 – 2010 “The Ship of Fools” based on Sebastian’s Brandt’s novel & inviting international musicians to particpate 2010/2011 “Hitman’s Heel” A project based on the nomadic lifestyle of the artist couple celebrating freedom 2011 Sound & art installation “ Residency “Apriori Tempo” at David Cerny’s Prague Art Institution the “Meetfactory” . Installation is based on changing the rhythm of time 2012 “The Glasshouse” "The Glasshouse" an experimental silent movie by Danielle de Picciotto, live performance with spoken word which is accompanied and highlighted by a spectacular film score by Alexander Hacke. 2012/ 2013 “We Are Gypsies Now” Interdisciplinary performance with Danielle de Picciotto based on her bestselling graphic diary on their nomadic adventures and lives (in German in Europe). 2014 “Republik der Wölfe” Theater piece at the Theater Dortmund 2015 “We Are Gypsies Tour 2015” Interdisciplinary performance with Danielle de Picciotto presenting her solo album, bestselling graphic diary on their nomadic adventures and upcoming album “Perseverantia” (USA & Canada) 2005 – 2012 Numerous workshops on the innovative culture in Berlin. 2009/2010 Seminars on film music in Salzburg (Austria) & Stuttgart (Germany) 2010 Alexander conceived a package of software sounds for Zebra (Urs Heckmann) .

Das vermeintliche Guerilla- gardening ziert den Gehsteig vor einem von zwei Leerstandsobjekten im Viertel, die direkt gegenüber voneinander an der oberen Schwanthalerstraße liegen. Eines hat sogar schon eine Phantomhausbe- setzung überlebt. Auch ohne diesen Lokalkolorit mag man den Titel als Sinnbild für die Verwilderung der politischen Sitten lesen. Man sieht halt immer mehr vor allem braunen Schmutz im politischen Alltag. Der war wahrscheinlich vorher schon da, nur unter der Oberfläche. Das kann natürlich in keiner Weise beruhigen. Schließlich bringt Sichtbarkeit eines Phänomens auch immer eine neue soziale Dimension und Eskalationsstufe mit sich. Schmutz spielt dabei in den meisten Beiträgen zur Ausgabe eine eher untergeordnete Rolle, am ehes- ten noch in den wunderbaren Einlassungen von Miss Harmlos zu den Einstürzenden Neubauten. Thomas Glatz bereichert die Ausgabe um wundervolle Kurztexte rund um die Eigenheiten von Stadt- parks und Aufführungen von klassischer Musik und setzt seine Serie der Bilderwitze fort. Viel Spaß beim Lesen! Nach wie vor gilt die Einladung für ‚Friktionen’ zu schreiben, zu zeichnen oder zu fotografieren.

Sie haben es mir nie leicht gemacht und ich habe mich immer schwer mit ihnen getan. Seit dem Abgang von F.M. Einheit und »ENDE NEU«. Abgesehen von der »Initialzündung«, damals, einstens, irgendwann, mit »HAUS DER LÜGE«. Aber das ist so, immer, bei der Rezeption von Kunst. Bei großer KlangKunst gar, bei den »NEUBAUTEN« eben, die Ihresgleichen weder suchen noch finden würden. Wenn man ein gewisses Alter erreicht hat und dem FAN-Alter mit der dazugehörigen, bedingungslosen Hörigkeit zum Künstler entwachsen ist, also nicht à priori alles schätzt, was der macht und darüber hinaus über ein gehöriges Maß an künstlerischem Sachverstand verfügt, dann, dann wird es schwierig. Dann trennt man sich, oder rauft sich zusammen. Ich habe mich bislang immer wieder mit den NEUBAUTEN zusammengerauft. SUPPORTER aller drei Phasen. Der ich war und bin. Und, entgegen meinen ersten Unmutsäußerungen über das neue Album, auch in Phase IV sein werde. Wenn es denn ein solche geben wird. Gerüchte über eine Trennung werden derzeit nicht mehr nur hinter vorgehaltener Hand und nicht mehr nur von Außenstehenden geäußert. Aber Gerüchte halt. Zum Album. Den Musikern. N.U. Unruh ist der zuverlässige, jeden Punkt präzise rhythmisierende Pol der Band geblieben. Seine Arbeit überzeugt immer. Ein stiller Held.

La liricità cosmica del rumore Articolo di: Livia Bidoli [1] L’Auditorium Parco della Musica di Roma ha accolto un concerto straordinario il primo giugno scorso: gli Einstürzende Neubauten (Neubaten: di nuova costruzione, dopo il 1945), ovvero le case crollanti, quelle intorno al muro di Berlino smantellato nel 1989, e che tanto non piacciono al leader incontrastato del gruppo industrial per antonomasia dopo i Kraftwerk, Blixa Bargeld (pseudonimo di Christian Emmerich, Berlino, 1959). Il gruppo, completo di armamentario percussivo, ha invaso di suoni metallici la Sala Santa Cecilia, irrorando energia pulita ed innovativa, quella che perseguono dal 1980, inaugurando il M.I.T. Fest che prosegue il 22 e 23 luglio prossimi. Blixa Bargeld alla voce - chitarrista per lungo tempo dei Bad Seeds di Nick Cave e nel 1983 guest-musician dei Birthday Party -, come il bassista Alexander Hacke, si presenta a piedi nudi sul palco ed intona come primo pezzo The Garden [2](Ende Neu, 1996), lirico e ossessivo, come molti altri che seguiranno durante la performance: le saette vibranti della tastiera di Ash Wednesday (australiano, in tour con loro dal ’97) danno il fondo sentimentale, mentre il percussionista N.U. Unruh batte il tempo su un cassonetto blu con l’ omino atomico (logo degli Einstürzende Neubauten) affinché “non piova a dirotto” e lui “possa aspettare”, come recita
