Nuove Segnalazioni Di Limacce Per La Malacofauna Bresciana (Gastropoda: Arionidae, Milacidae, Limacidae, Agriolimacidae) Boll. Abstract The slugs belonging to the families Arionidae, Milacidae, Limacidae and Agriolimacidae (Mollusca, Pulmo- nata), were studied within the boundaries of the province of Brescia (Lombardy, Northern Italy) and were determined through anatomical analysis (genitalia). Eight species have never been collected to date in this area: Milax nigricans (Philippi, 1836), Tandonia budapestensis (Hazay, 1880), T. simrothi (Hesse 1923) and Malacolimax tenellus (OF Müller, 1774) are new for the province of Brescia; Arion circumcriptus Johnston, 1828, Arion vulgaris (Moquin-Tandon, 1855), Lehmannia rupicola Lessona & Pollonera 1882 and Deroceras planarioides (Simroth 1910) are new for Lombardy. Arion vulgaris is one of the most common slugs in the province of Brescia and it has been collected from the Po Valley to the Rhaetian Alps, especially in an- thropic areas, completely replacing in some localities the indigenous species A. rufus Linnaeus, 1758. A. circumscriptus is not rare in this province, but it has a limited distribution. Milax nigricans had been already reported from western Lombardy, but it is herein recorded from the province of Brescia, where it was cer- tainly introduced by man. Tandonia budapestensis was already known for the Lombardian Prealps, but these are the first data for the province of Brescia, where it seems to be quite rare. Tandonia simrothi was known for the Orobic Alps; in the province of Brescia it was collected only in the western shores of Garda Lake and Idro Lake. Malacolimax tenellus had been already reported from Lombardy, but it is new for the study area, where it was collected in two stations in the high Camonica Valley. In Italy, Lehmannia rupicola was known from Piedmont, Aosta Valley and Liguria, and it is herein recorded from few stations in the high Camonica Valley. Deroceras planarioides, an Italian endemic species, was only known from Veneto, Trenti- no-Alto Adige and Friuli-Venezia Giulia; our findings are from the eastern Lombardy, western shore of Garda Lake, Caffaro Valley and Sabbia Valley. For each of the eight species, the following data are given: description of external morphology and of distal genitalia, distribution, habitat, frequency and taxonomic comments. Finally, a complete list of slugs certainly occurring in the province of Brescia is proposed. Parole chiave Lombardia, provincia di Brescia, limacce, distribuzione, ecologia, tassonomia. Mai 2019 IRA RICHLING th Abstract: The malacologist Dr. WOLFGANG RÄHLE (born 19.03.1939) died on May 20 2019 in Tuebingen, Germany. In appreciation of his life's achievements a short biography together with a compilation of his academic publications, the taxa described by him and the taxa named in his honour is presented. In his scientific work RÄHLE contributed 1) to the systematics of slugs (Agriolimacidae, Milacidae, Limacidae) and a few other taxa with geographic focus on southeastern Europe and the Macaronesian Islands and 2) to the knowledge on quarternary molluscs in geological, archaeological and cultural context. In his academic teaching at the University of Tuebingen, he became a legend because of his natural teaching genuity, his authenticity and a mixture of high expectations and appreciation based on profound knowledge. Students experienced his lectures as the most influential in their studies and several of them retained a long-lasting interest in malacology, among them several very active members of the German Malacological Society. Keywords: malacologist, systematics, slugs, southeastern Europe, Macaronesian Islands, quarternary molluscs, geology, archaeology, cultural remains, biography, bibliography Zusammenfassung: Der Malakologe Dr. WOLFGANG RÄHLE (geboren am 19.03.1939) verstarb am 20. POLSKA AKADEMIA NAUK INSTYTUT ZOOLOGII ANNALES ZOOLOGICI Tom 37 Warszawa, 20 X 1983 Nr 3 A n d rzej W ik t o r The slugs of Bulgaria (A rionidae , M ilacidae, Limacidae, Agriolimacidae — G astropoda , Stylommatophora) [With 118 text-figures and 31 maps] Abstract. All previously known Bulgarian slugs from the Arionidae, Milacidae, Limacidae and Agriolimacidae families have been discussed in this paper. It is based on many years of individual field research, examination of all accessible private and museum collections as well as on critical analysis of the published data. The taxa from families to species are sup plied with synonymy, descriptions of external morphology, anatomy, bionomics, distribution and all records from Bulgaria. It also includes the original key to all species. The illustrative material comprises 118 drawings, including 116 made by the author, and maps of localities on UTM grid. The occurrence of 37 slug species was ascertained, including 1 species (Tandonia pirinia- na) which is quite new for scientists. The occurrence of other 4 species known from publications could not bo established. Basing on the variety of slug fauna two zoogeographical limits were indicated. One separating the Stara Pianina Mountains from south-western massifs (Pirin, Rila, Rodopi, Vitosha. Mountains), the other running across the range of Stara Pianina in the^area of Shipka pass. INTRODUCTION Like other Balkan countries, Bulgaria is an area of Palearctic especially interesting in respect to malacofauna. So far little investigation has been carried out on molluscs of that country and very few papers on slugs (mostly contributions) were published. The papers by B a b o r (1898) and J u r in ić (1906) are the oldest ones.

The purpose of Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG) is to supplement the policies and proposals of development plans. It elaborates policies so that they can be better understood and effectively applied. SPG should be clearly cross-referenced to the relevant plan policy or policies which it supplements and should be the subject of consultation during its preparation. In these circumstances SPG may be taken into account as a material consideration in planning decisions. ii. A number of elements of SPG have been produced to supplement certain policies in the Kent and Medway Structure Plan. This SPG supplements the following policies: • Policy EN6: International and National Wildlife Designations • Policy EN7: County and Local Wildlife Designations • Policy EN8: Protecting, Conserving and Enhancing Biodiversity • Policy EN9: Trees, Woodland and Hedgerows iii. This SPG has been prepared by Kent County Council working in partnership with a range of stakeholders drawn from Kent local authorities and other relevant agencies. iv. A draft of this SPG was subject to public consultation alongside public consultation on the deposit draft of the Kent and Medway Structure Plan in late 2003. It has been subsequently revised and updated prior to its adoption. A separate report provides a statement of the consultation undertaken, the representations received and the response to these representations.
