Así lo dio a conocer recientemente el ente rector, la Confederación de Norteamérica, Centroamérica y el Caribe de Fútbol. Este torneo Preolímpico comenzará con una fase de grupos entre 8 nacio- nes. Después, los primeros y segundos lugares de cada sector avanzarán a las semifi nales que están programadas para jugarse el 30 de marzo. Los dos ganadores de las “semis” ase- guran su clasifi cación a los próximos Juegos Olímpicos de Tokio 2020 repre- sentando a la Concacaf y además avan- zan a la fi nal del Preolímpico que se disputará el 1 de abril.
