Winner of the 2015 Aspen Conducting Prize, Jackson came to attention after stepping in at short notice with Orchestre de Paris, where he stepped in for Daniel Harding. Recent highlights include leading Ensemble Intercontemporain at the Rainy Days Festival in Luxembourg and Festival D’Automne in Paris, as well as conducting the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, the orchestra of Opéra de Rouen, and the world premiere of Tscho Theissing’s Genia with Theater an der Wien. His varied operatic experience includes performances at Opera North, Hamburg State Opera and Opera Holland Park, as well as conducting a new production of Hänsel und Gretel at Grange Park Opera, where he was described in review as ‘a young conductor to watch'.

    RUSSIAN, SOVIET & POST-SOVIET CONCERTOS A Discography of CDs and LPs Prepared by Michael Herman Edited by Stephen Ellis Composers H-P GAGIK HOVUNTS (see OVUNTS) AIRAT ICHMOURATOV (b. 1973) Born in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia. He studied clarinet at the Kazan Music School, Kazan Music College and the Kazan Conservatory. He was appointed as associate clarinetist of the Tatarstan's Opera and Ballet Theatre, and of the Kazan State Symphony Orchestra. He toured extensively in Europe, then went to Canada where he settled permanently in 1998. He completed his musical education at the University of Montreal where he studied with Andre Moisan. He works as a conductor and Klezmer clarinetist and has composed a sizeable body of music. He has written a number of concertante works including Concerto for Viola and Orchestra No1, Op.7 (2004), Concerto for Viola and String Orchestra with Harpsicord No. 2, Op.41 “in Baroque style” (2015), Concerto for Oboe and Strings with Percussions, Op.6 (2004), Concerto for Cello and String Orchestra with Percussion, Op.18 (2009) and Concerto for Piano and Orchestra, Op 40 (2014). He entered the Petrograd Conservatory at age 13 and studied piano with Leonid Nikolayev and composition with Maximilian Steinberg. His graduation piece, the Symphony No. 1, gave him immediate fame and from there he went on to become the greatest composer during the Soviet Era of Russian history despite serious problems with the political and cultural authorities. He also concertized as a pianist and taught at the Moscow Conservatory. He was a prolific composer whose compositions covered almost all genres from operas, ballets and film scores to works for solo instruments and voice.     OCTOBER - NOVEMBER 2020 คณะกรรมการบริหารสถานีวิทยุจุฬาฯ ประวัติรายการดนตรีคลาสสิก ทีปรึกษา ดร.สุพจน์ เธียรวุฒิ รายการดนตรีคลาสสิกของสถานีวิทยุจุฬาฯ ดําเนินการมา อาจารย์สุภาพร โพธิแก้ว อย่างต่อเนืองเป็นเวลาเกือบ 50 ปี โดยเริมออกอากาศ หลังจากสถานีวิทยุจุฬาฯก่อตงไั ด้ไม่นาน (เมือ พ.ศ. 2508) ประธาน ศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์ ดร.นรินทร์ หิรัญสุทธิกุล ผู้จัดทํารายการในระยะแรก คือ คณาจารย์จุฬาฯ และ รองอธิการบดี อาจารย์ดนตรีทีมีใจรักดนตรีคลาสสิก อาทิ ศาสตราจารย์ กรรมการ ดร.กําธร สนิทวงศ์ ณ อยุธยา ศาสตราจารย์ ไขแสง ศุขะ- ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ปาริชาต สถาปิตานนท์ วัฒนะ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ สมัยสารท สนิทวงศ์ ณ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ณัฐชานนท์ โกมุทพฒิพงศุ ์ อยุธยา และอาจารย์ ปิยะพันธ์ สนิทวงศ์ เป็นต้น อาจารย์ ดร.อลงกรณ์ ปริวุฒิพงศ์ ตังแต่ปี พ.ศ.2511 อาจารย์ ชัชวาลย์ ทาสุคนธ์ และ อาจารย์ สรายุทธ ทรัพย์สุข อาจารย์ สมโภช รอดบุญ ซึงเป็นเจ้าหน้าทีประจําของ นางสาวอรนุช อนุศักดิเสถียร สถานีรับช่วงดําเนินรายการต่อมา อาจารย์ สมโภช ถึงแก่ นายณรงค์ สุทธิรักษ์ กรรมในปี พ.ศ.2531 และทางสถานีได้ดําเนินงานต่อมา รักษาการ กรรมการผ้อูํานวยการสถานี โดยได้ รับความร่วมมือจากบุคลากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิหลาย อาจารย์ สุภาพร โพธิแก้ว ท่านของจุฬาฯ ตังแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2533 สีส้ ม เอียมสรรพางค์ และ สดับพิณ รัตนเรือง รับช่วงดําเนินงานต่อมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน รายการ จุลสารรายสองเดือน Music of the Masters เป็นของ ดนตรีคลาสสิกออก อากาศทุกคืน ระหว่างเวลา 22:00 - สถานีวิทยุแห่งจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย บทความที 24:00 น. ตีพิมพ์ในจุลสารและบทวิทยุของรายการดนตรีคลาสสิก เป็นลิขสิทธิของผู้ จัดทํา ห้ ามผู้ใดนําไปตีพิมพ์หรื อ สถานีวิทยุจุฬาฯได้ ปิ ดรับสมัครสมาชิกรายการดนตรี เผยแพร่ซาในํ ทุกๆ ส่วน คลาสสิกและการจัดส่งจุลสาร Music
