Termination possible at any time: You can terminate your BärenTicket subscription at any time at the end of the month by the 15th day of any calendar month. If you terminate your ticket before the end of the first 12 months a flat-rate fee of EUR 20.00 will be charged. After the first 12 months, no subsequent charge will apply anymore. The period of notice by the 15th day of a calendar month for termination at the end of the month remains unchanged.

5 Bicycle transport Generally speaking, transport companies are happy to take along your bicycle. In the interest of all passengers, however, this will depend on the time of day, traffic volume, and the available space. Therefore, please enquire in advance about the respective rules of your transport company. If you take a person and their bicycle with you on your BärenTicket during the companion times, you will need a FahrradTicket for the bike for every 24 hours. One FahrradTagesTicket NRW per person can be used for day trips in NRW in combination with the Bären- Ticket, as well as the supplementary EinfachWeiterTicket NRW.

Timetable app Would you like to travel by bus and rail and do you need information and services for your journey? With the VRR timetable app and the timetable apps from the local transport companies for iOS and Android you can always have your own personal travel companion with you. Simply enter your starting loca- tion and your final destination and the app will show the local transport connections you need to take. If there should be any service interruptions during your journey, you shall be informed of this on your smartphone. You can download the apps from the respective app stores. Mobility guarantee We always strive to bring you to your destination on time. How- ever, if we are unable to do this due to traffic, illegal parking or malfunctions of vehicles and operating equipment, you can take advantage of our mobility guarantee. This is valid for all VRR and NRW tickets.

The mobility guarantee applies when the local transport you want to use is cancelled or if it is at least 20 minutes behind schedule when leaving the departure stop. You must get on the alternative means of transport chosen within 60 minutes. If you use an IC/EC or ICE, a taxi or a sharing option (e.g. car, bike, e-scooter sharing, on-demand transport) for your trip instead, we will reimburse part of the additional costs arising for it.

As a Ticket2000 or BärenTicket customer, you will receive up to 60 euros for the day. If you use another ticket, we will reimburse you with 30 euros for trips between 5 a.m. and 8 p.m. For trips between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m., the amount increases to 60 euros.

6 Trips to destinations outside the VRR transport network EinfachWeiterTicket NRW The EinfachWeiterTicket NRW allows subscription and monthly ticket holders to travel NRW simply and easily. The ticket is valid on any public transport services of the VRR, AVV, WT, and VRS for six hours after validation in connection with your Bären Ticket, you may change trains any number of times. Round trips and return journeys are excluded, however. The return journey requires purchase of another EinfachWeiterTicket NRW.

The flatrate connection ticket will expand your ticket to rides beyond your network area. The ticket will be valid in any public transport in NRW for six hours from validation. You may change any number of times, but circular trips and return trips are not allowed.
