All equidae in Hungary are registered in this single central database and horse passports are issued from this database by the Central Agricultural Office belonging to the Ministry of Rural Development. All identification numbers starting with 348 refer to the single Hungarian central equine database, the digit 5 and 6 of UELN code differ the breeds registered in the central database (e.g. 3481AT refers to Thoroughbreds).
