Hegeli idealistlik dialektika aga ei saanud olla revolutsioonilise võitluse tegevusjuhiseks, mida tollal nii väga vajati. -Oleme palju kuulnud Le­ nini suurepärasest ettenägelikkusest. Tema mõttelend nägi kaugele ette ja tajus argipäeva sündmuste piirjoone ta­ gant eelseisvaid revolutsioonilahinguid ning kokkupõrkeid Vene tsarismi ja ka­ pitalismiga. Kuid ajaloolise ülesande edukaks täitmiseks ei piisanud üksnes Venemaa proletariaadi revolutsioonili­ sest energiast ja võidutahtest, läks vaja kä tõhusat teoreetilist relva, lahingu- kompassi.
