With its logistics and services centre in Ludwigsburg, U.I. Lapp GmbH boasts a state-of-the-art and sophisticated logistics system.
In an area of around 30,000 m², cable drums are stored and released from stock by fully-automated storage and retrieval machines.
Modern, driverless transport systems move the cable drums to the sizing machines without any human input.
The short delivery times and high quality of our logistics will impress you as a customer.
Certification as a known consignor enables fast and secure dispatch of products worldwide.
The Lapp Group was awarded an AEO-F certificate from the Main Customs Office in Stuttgart, and is therefore an official “Authorised Economic Operator”.

Patented mandrel gripper • Efficient and safe handling of cable drums • No damage to the cable or flange caused by improper transport • For ergonomic and space-saving operation • Suitable for all drum types up to 400 kg
Patented system pallet Our newly-developed system pallet can be used to safely store cylindrical products such as cable drums with flange diameters of 40 to 80 cm and weights of up to 400 kg. Thanks to the special “stepped” design and the centrally-mounted mandrel, the drums are automatically centred when put down.
System pallets which are not required can be stacked thanks to their ingenious space-saving design.

Cutting length orders until 12:30 pm* Orders for cutting lengths of available cables and lines which are received by us before 12:30 pm are usually delivered to you within 24 hours.
Cutting length orders received after 12:30 pm will usually be shipped one working day later.
Original length orders until 3:30 pm* Orders for available cables and lines (original lengths), connectors, cable accessories etc. that we receive before 3:30 pm will normally be delivered to you within 24 hours. Orders received after 3:30 pm will usually be shipped one working day later.
