Klünder Monument to Emperor Nicholas I unveiled in Czech Republic September 19.TASS - A monument to Emperor Nicholas I (1825-1855) was opened in the spa town of Teplice in the north of the Czech Republic. "The monument to Nicholas I was erected in the very centre of Teplice next to the monuments of Peter the Great and Alexander I," he stressed. Monuments to Russian autocrats in Teplice were created by People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Surovtsev. Sovereigns from the Romanov dynasty, actively implementing the idea of uniting the Slavs under the sceptre of mighty Russia on the international arena, have forever entered the history of Teplice. The Grand Duke and the future Emperor of Russia Nicholas I twice visited this city: in 1815 at the age of 19, and in 1818, when he turned 22. He took part in laying the foundation and then opening a monument to Russian soldiers who died for Europe's freedom in the struggle against Napoleon. The elder brother of Nicholas I, Emperor Alexander I, arrived in Teplice during the foreign campaigns of the Russian Imperial Army during the Napoleonic wars in 1813.

The tradition of the procession was born in 2004 - says the coordinator of the procession Vladimir Znahur - The icon painter Igor Kalugin gave the church an icon of St. Tsarevich. The report analyzes the positions of the main political parties of Russia on the content, causes and ways to overcome the environmental problems of the capital region. During the discussions preceding the elections of Moscow authorities in 2013-2019, political parties and their candidates pointed to such acute environmental problems as air pollution, lack of adequate technologies for processing household waste, degradation of water bodies, reduction of green space. The author draws attention to the difference in the methods of coverage of environmental issues by Pro- government and opposition candidates. Pro-governmental candidates sought to draw the attention of the citizens to the obvious positive results of their previous activities and plans for future. However, these seemingly trivial approaches were based on a very detailed long-term urban strategy of the New environmental policy adopted by the government of Moscow in 2014 and designed for the period up to 2030. Opposition candidates emphasized the extreme severity of environmental problems, harshly criticized the environmental policy of the city administration, tried to identify social and class groups that impede the implementation of effective environmental measures. As a result, the positive proposals of the opposition were more «multidimensional», including several measures to rationalize and democratize the decision-making process in the environmental sphere and to undermine the capacity of social agents who prevented overcoming the environmental crisis in the capital.

This year the Moscow Financial Forum is taking place for the fourth time. The Forum is a platform for discussion of key issues of financial and economic policy of the Russian Federation. Today we face an ambitious task: to ensure that the speed of the Russia's economy growth will be faster than the world’s average ones. Together with representatives of the expert and scientific community, business and the public, it will be necessary to discuss strategic objectives and national development goals. The basis for the formation of Russia's economic policy in the coming years will be formed by the Forum. The Moscow Financial Forum will be held on the 12 and 13 of September 2019 at the Manege. The theme of this year's Forum is "Russian Economy: Opportunities for Advanced Development." Within the framework of the business programme the participants will discuss the issues of increasing the competitiveness of the economy, implementation of national projects, efficiency of tax policy, improvement of state support measures, development of financial markets, stimulation of entrepreneurial activity. The results of the Moscow Financial Forum will be the basis for the development of solutions necessary to accelerate Russia's economic development.
