Before him, the lake sparkles in extravagant beauty, on the horizon a mountain ridge crowns the panorama, and when Adam turns around, he sees the fairy-tale art nouveau facade of the Hotel Vitznauerhof. Adam Danics: “When I talk to friends at home I have to switch on FaceTime, otherwise they won’t believe me.”

A taste for adventure led Adam Danics from Hungary to Switzerland, where he fell in love with Lake Lucerne and the mountains. He is now a pool attendant and taxi manager at the “Vitznauerhof” and still finds his surroundings awe-inspiring.
