The problems and importance of over 120 million people now, more than ever before, should be acknowledged and understood within the context ofEurasian and East European studies. The fate ofthe BaIts, Ukrainians, Jews, Caucasians, and the peoples of Central Asia is too important to be overlooked.

Nationalities Papers is published semi-annually by the Association for the Study of the Nationalities (USSR and Eastern Europe) Inc.
