The team from Stride Tregowan Architects have completed their design proposal following a 6 week-period of meetings with the trust and contractors (Bowman Kirkland) have been formally appointed. The project involves the refurbishment of an attractive listed building as well as the building of a high spec classroom block and sports hall. The design has met with approval from the school governing body and has been presented to local residents and to Ealing Fields parents. A public meeting showcasing the proposal will take place on Wednesday 28th March 2018 from 4pm – 8pm as part of the consultation process. It is hoped that the refurbished building will be a considerable asset to the community as well as to the school. Current estimations indicate that the project will be completed by the summer term of 2020. In the interim plans are moving forward for the relocation of an additional classroom block onto the current temporary site in readiness for the new year 7 intake.
