BSC_BASIC TECHNOLOGY_JS1 WOODWORK HAND A worker uses different types of tools to carry out different operations. Some of the tools are manually operated while some are operated while some are operated by electricity. The manually operated tools are hand tools while the electrically operated are called power tools. Examples of wood workers are: , a furniture/cabinet maker and a wood carver. The wood worker use tools to carry out operations such as measuring, cutting, boring, setting, marking and driving. Measuring Tools are used for measuring or transferring dimensions like length, width, height, depth, radius and circumference. Examples of measuring tools are: a.
