ᑐᓴᕋᑦᓴᖅ ᓄᓇᕗᒻᒥ ᑲᒥᓯᓇᒥᒃ A message from the ᑭᓇᑐᐃᓐᓇᖅ ᓂᕆᐅᓚᐅᙱᑦᑐᖅ ᐅᓪᓗᑕᒫᑦ ᐃᓅᓯᕗᑦ ᑕᐃᒪᐃᓕᕋᔭᕐᓂᖓᓂᒃ − ᐃᓅᖃᑎᒌᑦ Commissioner of Nunavut ᖃᓂᒌᓗᐊᑦᑕᐃᓕᖃᑦᑕᕐᓂᖏᑦ, ᓇᒻᒥᓂᖅ ᐃᓄᑑᒋᐊᖃᕐᓂᖅ ᐊᓂᑦᑕᐃᓕᓗᓂ, ᓯᐊᕐᒪᖅᑕᐃᓕᑎᑦᓯᓂᕐᒧᑦ ᐊᓂᑦᑕᐃᓕᖃᑦᑕᕐᓂᖅ. I don’t think anyone ever expected our day-today life would be like this – social distancing, self-isolation, quarantine. ᑕᐃᒪᐃᓕᐅᕆᐊᖃᖅᑐᒍᑦ ᓴᐳᒻᒥᔭᐅᖁᓪᓗᒋᑦ ᑭᒃᑯᓕᒫᑦ ᖃᓄᐃᑦᑕᐃᓕᒋ ᐊᖃᕐᓂᖏᑦ. We all truly appreciate the work nurses and ᐃᕐᓂᓱᑦᓰᔩᓪᓗ. ᑐᓂᓯᒪᑦᓯᐊᖏᓐᓇᕐᓂᖏᑦ ᓇᓗᓇᐃᖅᓯᒪᒍᑕᐅᕙᑦᑐᑦ midwives do. Their continued dedication ensures that we ᐊᑐᐃᓐᓇᖃᖁᓪᓗᑕ ᐃᑉᐱᒋᔭᐅᑦᓯᐊᕆᐊᖃᕐᓂᑎᓐᓂᒃ. ᐱᒻᒪᕆᐅᔪᒥᒃ have access to the care we need. The regular Government of Nunavut media briefings that are broadcast ᓄᓇᕗᑦ ᒐᕙᒪᒃᑯᖏᑕ ᐱᕙᓪᓕᐊᔪᓕᕆᔨᓄᑦ ᑐᑭᓯᒋᐊᖅᑎᑦᓯᖃᑦᑕᕐᓂᖏᑦ on the Legislative Assembly TV channel and on CBC North radio provide ᑕᑯᑦᓴᐅᑎᑕᐅᕙᑦᑐᑦ ᒪᓕᒐᓕᐅᖅᑎᓄᑦ ᑕᓚᕕᓴᒃᑰᕈᑎᖓᒍᑦ ᐊᒻᒪᓗ ᓯᐱᓯ ᐅᑭᐅᖅᑕᖅᑐᒥ us with the latest information on COVID-19. ᓈᓚᐅᑎᒃᑯᑦ ᓄᑖᖑᓂᖅᐹᓂᒃ ᑐᓴᕈᑎᒋᖃᑦᑕᖅᑕᕗᑦ ᓄᕙᔾᔪᐊᕐᓇᖅ 19 ᒥᑦᓵᓄᑦ.
