With Covid and fewer people making it to Mass, I was concerned that we would not be able to help the people we usually help. Instead, I was overwhelmed with the generous response of our St. Patrick Family. We were able to donate gifts for the children from Jobs and Family Services, Help House, the residents of Madison Health and Rehab, Lifepointe, and we had many gift cards to use at the parish level when people in need contact us. I am always amazed at the response of our St. Patrick families, but this year exceeded all others. With all the craziness going on in our world, with the job losses, the illnesses, the uncertainty and perhaps fear of the future, you opened your hearts to help those who need it. Thanks to all who donated, those who donated the tree, those who helped with making the tags both at school and at church, the fifth grade who organized the school tree, those who shopped for the items we didn’t get in, those who sorted the gifts by organization, those who delivered the gifts, and our office personnel who helped in any way they could and kept us organized.
