“What is too much! How? That is amazing!
During Advent, a local paper listed some "needs" that a few non-profits requested. This week, in the spirit of the Christmas Season, I share the following:
I will say, all of this has taught us how much this place that neither my husband nor I are from feels like home. When he took his job that brought us here To Fort Wayne we prayed about it and it felt like what God wanted for our family and it is so easy to hear the Devil’s seeds of doubt when things start going wrong.

But there have been so many kind people like you reaching out to us and people I will never know and be able to thank who have been so generous. I am so grateful that God led us to this community. I can’t even think about this program and your help without welling up with tears of joy. Last year my kids had a real Christmas meal and a Christmas celebration and we were able to pay our mortgage because of your kindness. twin comforters, twin sheets, pillows, diapers (sizes 4, 5, 6) Pull Ups, wipes, feminine hygiene products, cleaning products, gas cards, toilet paper, paper towels (260) 456-4172

A New year has begun and with that, a new beginning. It is the time of year for resolutions and reflections. A time when we are either cynical about all we didn’t achieve last year, or hopeful that this year will be even better. It is a time when it is easy to overwhelm ourselves with too much and become filled with discouragement, or, it can be a time of gratitude for all the little things last year gave us.
