Question of the Week FROM THE PASTORAL STAFF Adult Faith Formation is at the core of all religious formation in St. Clare's parish. Our new National Directory for Catechesis tells us that it should be the organizing principle from which all other religious education springs. When we share our faith with others, that is catechesis. Sharing our faith, cateche- sis, is what makes us Christian. Using the Question of the Week at all parish meetings and for individual and family reflection, adults and children will be better able to re- late the Sunday Scriptures to their daily lives and to share their reflections with one another. His actions speak louder than words and he is always faithful to God’s plan.

We read about Joseph as the man “betrothed to Mary,” a young girl who is found to be with child. In the first of many warnings by an angel in a dream, Joseph is advised by the angel not to be afraid to take Mary as his wife. That the child she has conceived is from the Holy Spirit. Joseph stands beside Mary from that moment on and remained faithful to God’s Plan for the family.
