SM2288 Monoclonal Antibody to Laminin gamma 2 / Laminin-5 - Supernatant

Alternate names: CSF 140 kDa subunit, -scattering factor 140 kDa subunit, Kalinin/nicein/epiligrin 100 kDa subunit, LAMB2T, LAMC2, LAMNB2, Ladsin 140 kDa subunit, Laminin 5 gamma 2 subunit, Laminin B2t chain, Laminin subunit gamma-2, Large adhesive scatter factor 140 kDa subunit Quantity: 5 ml Uniprot ID: Q13753 NCBI: NP_005553.2 GeneID: 3918 Host / Isotype: Mouse / IgG1 Clone: GB3 Immunogen: Human Amnion Preparation. Format: State: Liquid Culture Supernatant . Buffer System: Phosphate Buffered Saline conatining 0.09% Sodium Azide as preservative. Applications: Immunohistochemistry on Frozen Sections (Neat-1/10). Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. Specificity: Clone GB3, originally characterised as an anti human amnion antibody (ref.1) recognises the epithelium specific adhesion molecule kalinin (ref.2), also known as laminin gamma 2. GB3 recognises 5 polypeptides of 93.5-150kDa (ref.3). These polypeptides occur in the lamina lucida of epidermal basement membrane of skin and amnion. Normal mammary glandular basement membrane and epithelia react strongly with GB3, intraductal carcinomas react less strongly and infiltrating carcinomas do not react. GB3 may therefore be useful for investigation of intraductal and infiltrating breast adenocarcinoma. Species: Human. Other species not tested. Storage: Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use. Shelf life: One year from despatch.
