The Harvey School is located in the hamlet of Katonah, which is located in the Westchester County town of Bedford, New York. Bordering Connecticut to the east and to the south, Westchester County is the second wealthiest county in New York State, and the seventh wealthiest county in the entire . Katonah is located on the Harlem Line, offering train service into downtown New York City (Grand Central Station is only 1 hour away), with many residents commuting into and out of the city. Harvey and the Arts 12-15% of graduates tend to have their university majors in fine arts, computer-assisted art, musical theater, voice, or dance. The curriculum at Harvey offers students of all backgrounds the opportunity to broaden their horizons with courses including but not limited to: Jazz History, Mural Painting, Dance and Movement Choreography, and Cinema Studies.

International students live in the school’s on-campus boarding facilities five days a week (Sunday night to Friday afternoon), and are housed with American families on the weekend. The on-campus boarding facilities receive 24-hour supervision from the live- in faculty and are two stories high, featuring lounge areas, computers for student use, in addition to being located next to the school’s outdoor basketball court. Students will live within their host families for most holidays and school breaks, except for the two long school vacations each year, one in the winter, and the other in the spring.

Modern Facility The Harvey School is located on a majestic 125-acre campus. Campus features include numerous academic and residential buildings in addition to eight athletic fields, an outdoor basketball court, nature trails, a biology pond and the Evarts Ice Rink, where students can ice skate in the winter. Within the classroom, students can make use of Smart Boards and pioneering curricular advances such as online textbooks. 2008 saw the addition of the $5 million, award winning Walker Center for the Arts, with 2012 seeing the completion of the new $6 million athletic facility.

International Student Success In 2019, two Cambridge students were accepted by Johns Hopkins University #10 and New York University #30. Yutong "Janice" Cai is from Nanjing, China and graduate in 2017 as the valedictorian of her class with a weighted average of 4.23. She received straight A’s in each of the 7 AP courses she took, and she was named an AP Scholar with Distinction by the College Board. Additionally, she sang soprano in Harvey's Varsity Choir and Acapella group, stared in 3 musical productions, played number 3 singles on the Girls' Varsity Tennis Team, and completed a very successful senior internship with a business firm. Janice is studying at Emory University majoring in Economics and Music. She truly embodies The Harvey School's motto: "Small school, big opportunities, endless possibilities!"
