Welcome to College! As a student registered at Brescia University College, you are required to enroll in a minimum of 3.0 credits at Brescia in the Fall/Winter session. University regulations state that courses offered at Brescia, must be taken at Brescia. A full-time first-year program consists of 5.0 credits made up of courses numbered 1000 to 1999, including at least four different subject areas with no more than two courses in the same subject area. At least one (1.0) credit must be included from each of the three Categories (A, B and C – breadth requirements) before graduation.

Many courses at Western have a significant writing component. In order to recognize student achievement, a number of such courses have been designated as Essay Courses and will be identified on the student’s record.
