The Accommodation Services website contains a map of all the residences as well as nearby underground and railway stations and exits from the M8.

Directions by Car

From (Edinburgh and South) Exit at junction 19 and take right-hand turn onto A814 (Clydebank) keeping in left hand lane. Take left hand exit at /SECC East. At traffic lights take right hand turn into Finneston Street. Continue up to traffic lights and turn left onto Argyle Street. Take the third turning on your left into Kelvinhaugh Street. Maclay Residence is located at the bottom of Kelvinhaugh Street on Cooperage Place.

From M8 Motorway ( and West) Exit at Junction 19 onto A814 and exit at Finneston (first exit on the left). Follow the instructions as above.

Air Travel

From Glasgow International Airport (0141 887 1111) An airport bus service runs approximately 8 times per hour to in the city centre. (The service runs from 0630 to 2400 hours, Monday to Friday and on Sundays, and from 0600 to 2400 hours on Saturdays. For further information regarding this service telephone 08705 505050. Then from city centre, take a taxi to Maclay Residences. Alternatively, you could take a taxi from the airport directly to the accommodation.

From Prestwick Airport (01292 479 822) Prestwick Airport is a 45 minute train journey from the city centre (the train station is located within Prest- wick Airport). Trains run approximately every 30mins from the Airport to in the city centre. A taxi can be taken from the train station directly to Maclay Residences.

Walking from Maclay Residences to Campus.

Maclay Residences is less than 25mins walk from campus and is situated right in the West End.

Directions by Bus

From Buchanan Bus Station (0141 333 3708). Buchanan Bus Station is situated in the city centre. Exit the bus station onto Renfrew Street, turn right and walk down Renfrew Street (you should pass by Cineworld on your left). Turn left onto Renfield Street. Take the 17 bus from the bus stop opposite the Pavillion Theatre. Get off on Sauchiehall Street at The Butchershop Bar & Grill. Turn around and walk to the crossing and turn right onto Radnor street, continue walking down, cross the intersection and walk past the Easylet office onto Haugh Road. Follow the street until the end, make a left down the hill and Maclay Residences will be on your right.

From Central Train Station Subway Exit through exit 2 onto Union Street. Take a right and walk down Union Street until you reach the first crossroads, and turn left onto Argyle Street (towards St Enoch shopping centre). After about 50m you should see an entrance to the subway station on your right (look out for an orange and grey sign). Take the Inner Circle train to Kelvinhall station. After exiting the station onto Dumbarton Road, turn left and walk along Dumbarton Road towards the Kelvingrove Museum. When you are in front of the Kelvingrove muse- um, cross the street at the traffic lights and walk up Regent Moray Street, passing Brewdog on your right. Cross again at the traffic lights and follow Yorkhill street down the hill and make a right onto Haugh Road. When you reach the end turn left down Sandyford Street and Maclay Residences will be at your right. Bus Exit through exit 3 onto Hope Street. Cross the road, turn right and walk up Hope Street. Take Bus No 2 on the bus stop on Hope Street (you’ll need to walk approximately 50m up Hope Street before reaching the bus stop). Leave the bus on Argyle Street, press the button as you past the Thai Siam restau- rant on the left side. Walk up Argyle Street towards the Happy Lets office on the intersection. Cross the in- tersection and make a left down Haugh Road, passing the Bike Station on your left. Continue walking along Haugh Road until you reach the end, make a left down the hill and Maclay Residences is on the right. Alternatively you can get a taxi, which will cost approximately £7.

From Queen Street Train Station Subway Exit towards Dundas Street, cross the road and walk straight onto . Turn left and you’ll see the entrance to the Subway ahead (look out for an orange and grey sign). Take the Inner Circle train to Kel- vinhall station. For walking directions from Kelvinhall station to Maclay, please refer to directions on how to get from Cen- tral Station to Maclay by Subway. Bus Exit Queen Street Station towards Dundas Street, cross the road and walk straight until you reach Buchan- an Street. Turn left and walk up Buchanan Street until you reach the traffic lights. Turn right and walk to the closest bus stop. Take Bus No 77, and get off on Sauchiehall Street before Clayslaps Road (right at the Butchershop Bar & Grill. For walking direction to Maclay from bus stop, please refer to directions on how to get from Central Station to Maclay by bus. Alternatively you can get a taxi, which will cost approximately £7.

Car Parking Free parking is available for guest and visitors at Maclay Residences who have registered their vehicle at Reception.
