In association with the Robert Henryson Society:

The following recordings consist of renditions from Older Scots into with the intention of making the work of Robert Henryson more accessible in the first instance to anyone who is unfamiliar with Middle Scots. These versions are carefully made so that the rhyme and rhythm are preserved. Those involved are skilled in poetry and the Scots language and the final versions have been scrutinised by Professor Jack Aitken, former editor of DOST. These readings should form bridges between Modern Scots and the Middle Scots of an illustrious makar.
