Dear Parents and/or Guardians,

It is an honor and privilege to serve your children as they attend Camp Aura. As members of the medical staff, we go to great lengths to ensure the safety of your children. We spend much time in prayer and preparation prior to and during camp activities. As we strive to meet the health needs of all those whom attend Camp Aura, we recognize that occasionally certain over-the-counter medications may be helpful for minor ailments. Please read and check the appropriate spaces below.

Acknowledgment of Risk and Waive of Liability Form

I acknowledge and fully understand that I will be participating and engaging in activities that involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability or death, and severe social and economic losses which might result not only from my own actions, inactions or negligence, but action, inaction or negligence of others, the rules of play, or the condition of the premises or any equipment used. I further acknowledge and understand that there may be other unknown risks not reasonably foreseeable at this time and agree to assume all the foregoing risk and accept personal responsibility for the damages following any such injury, permanent disability or death, and hereby forever release, discharge, and covenant not to sue and/or otherwise indemnify Camp Aura and Calvary Bible Baptist Church of Willingboro, NJ, their affiliated organizations and sponsors, coaches, managers, employees and associated personnel, officers, directors, agents, including the owners of premises used to conduct the camp from any and all liability to me, my heirs or next of kin for any and all against any claim by or on my behalf as a result of my participation in the Camp Aura Teen/Junior/Family and/or transportation to or from the same. I hereby agree to individually provide for all present and possible future medical expenses that I may incur as a result of any injury sustained while participating at or for Camp Aura. I have read and understand this acknowledgment of risk and waive of responsibility and I voluntarily affix my name in acceptance of all risks associated with my participation.

Camper Code of Conduct

Its Purpose The Word of God commands us to “abstain from all appearances of evil.” We therefore, at Camp Aura, desiring the full blessing of God on the ministry and on the lives of those who attend, have established the following rules for this very purpose. Camp Aura is a ministry of Calvary Bible Baptist Church. The standards that we maintain have not and will not change. It is our desire that Camp Aura upholds and maintains the standards and convictions that the Word of God teaches.

All Campers Code of Conduct NO alcoholic beverages, tobacco in any form, radios, iPods, DVD players, CD players, MP3 players, cassette players, walkmans, TV’s, VCR’s, guns, knives, books, fireworks, weapons of any kind, video games, laptops, cell phones, or playing cards. NO physical contact allowed between male and female campers. NO mixed swimming. NO medications kept by the campers and/or counselors. ALL medications (prescription and over-the-counter) must be turned in to the camp nurse upon arrival. NO sweatshirts, T-shirts, or hats with inappropriate advertising. No White shirts.

Ladies’ Code of Conduct Swimwear: dark clothes with dark ONLY Modest, loose fitting , , “culottes (see explanation below). They must be 4-5 inches below the top of the knee (knee is covered when sitting). NO gauchos. Slits must be to the bottom of the knee. NO hip-hugger skirts. NO tight knit . NO whiskering or fade spots. Modest tops and blouses. NO sleeveless tops or dresses. NO belly tops. NO crop tops. NO sun dresses with narrow straps and low necklines. NO form fitting or sheer dresses. NO pants of any style jam , or sweatpants. clothes for all evening chapel services. Make-up and jewelry in moderation. Modest sleepwear (modest nightgowns, knee length gauchos or culottes, sleepwear—must be to knee). *Culottes: There are many acceptable patterns that we approve. They must be loose fitting, no slits or open flaps, no zippers and/or pockets in front that give the appearance of pants. Baggy legged shorts are not approved. They must cover the knee when sitting and they must give a -like appearance. All culottes will be subject to camp staff approval! Gentlemen’s Code of Conduct Swimwear: Dark T-shirts and pants NO sleeveless shirts. Gentlemen must wear pants for activities. NO shorts. Dress clothes for chapel services and chapel competition. Hair MUST be neatly cut and off the ears and collar. NO earrings, necklaces, or bracelets (medical identifications are okay).

The staff at Camp Aura desire to please God in all they do, say, and the way we look. Campers with inappropriate clothing, items, etc. risk being sent home early. There will be a fee, if a camper needs appropriate clothing and Camp Aura provides it.

Things to Bring

Dear Camper,

We are thrilled that you are attending camp this year. We are praying that God moves at Camp Aura. We wanted to remind you of a few important things to bring to camp:

1. King James Bible, note pad, pen 2. Six sets of play clothes and two sets of swim clothes (including shoes & under clothing) Note: Girls should bring culottes (below the knee) to play games in 3. Sneakers or tennis shoes to play games in 4. Three sets of smart casual clothes for chapel services ( for boys) (skirts for girls) 5. One pair of khaki pants (boys) or a khaki skirt (below the knee) (girls) 6. Casual dress shoes for chapel 7. Pillow 8. Sleeping bag or twin bed sheets & blanket 9. Nightwear (modest) 10. Shower Kit (toothbrush, tooth paste, soap, shampoo, deodorant and towel) 11. Laundry bag 12. Beach towel 13. Shower shoes or flip flops 14. Insect repellent and sunscreen 15. Flashlight/batteries 16. An extra pair of eyeglasses or contacts 17. Mouth piece (boys) 18. Spending money for the Trading Post 19. Good attitude
