Funai Corporation, Inc. Exhibits the Latest in Smart Home Entertainment at CES 2019 with New and Magnavox Televisions

LAS VEGAS, January 4, 2019 – Corporation, Inc. will exhibit its leading display technologies at CES 2019 with the all-new Philips 4K UHD Android TV Series, the award- winning Philips 24” Kitchen Android TV and the new Magnavox 4K UHD Roku TV. All of the latest smart home technologies from Funai and partner brands will be on display at the Funai pavilion in the Renaissance Hotel in Las Vegas, NV, January 8-11, 2019.

The latest smart home technologies in the Funai pavilion at CES 2019 will include:

Philips 4K UHD Android TV The Philips 4K UHD Android TV delivers the most technologically advanced viewing experience with Android 8.0 providing access to the latest streaming channels and personalized recommendations from popular streaming apps including Netflix, VUDU, YouTube and thousands of additional apps including HULU, SlingTV, YouTube TV and Games available on Play. The Philips 4K UHD Android TV will be available in two different series (the 5704 and 5904) and with display sizes ranging from 43” to 75”.

Both the 5704 and 5904 Philips 4K UHD Android TV series are equipped with a Bluetooth near- field mic remote for voice control with the built-in, allowing users to search for content, ask every day questions and control smart devices, such as the Play, as well as other Google Assistant compatible products. With Built-inTM, users can wirelessly mirror photos, movies, apps and more directly from their . The built-in Google Assistant is ready to control all smart home devices.

The Philips 4K UHD Android TV series features HDR 10 and is equipped with Bright Pro, a backlight boost that brightens the image by up to ten percent compared to standard LED displays, delivering exceptional brightness and contrast even in brightly lit rooms.

The 5704-series is now available in select retailers and warehouse clubs. Coming in the second half of 2019, the 5904-series will include an integrated far-field microphone solution allowing users to simply say, “Hey Google,” to activate their personal Google Assistant and ask

questions, control other smart home devices and add products to their Google Express cart from anywhere in the room.

Philips 24” Kitchen Android TV The Philips 24” Kitchen Android TV with the Google Assistant is one of the first-of-its-class televisions designed for the heart of every home — the kitchen. The Android TV platform paired with the integrated far-field, echo-cancelling microphone gives users voice-activated access to the Google Assistant so there’s no need to touch the remote control. Users can instantly gain hands-free access to their favorite recipes, online videos, streaming apps, music playlists, local TV programming, and smart devices.

Inspired by the trends within home furnishings and kitchen décor, incorporating a minimalistic white bezel surrounding the LCD panel and woven gray mesh cloth covering the powerful dual- speakers that double as the TV stand. Not only does the TV perform well, it also blends perfectly into any kitchen space or décor. The Kitchen Android TV runs Android 8.0 software and is designed with two HDMI ports, dual 8-watt integrated speakers and HD display technology.

Unlike other smart kitchen technology, the Philips 24” Kitchen Android TV can operate as a stand-alone device without the need to mirror or connect to a smart hub to enjoy content. Magnavox 4K UHD Roku TV The 4K UHD Magnavox Roku TV features powerful display technology from Funai including HDR10 and runs on the latest Roku OS, offering an intuitive home screen and access to over 500,000 movies and TV episodes. When paired with the powerful display technology from Funai, the 4K UHD Roku TV is the best device for streaming the most popular TV shows and movies.

HDR10 technology provides greater color depth compared to standard dynamic range TVs and improved contrast with peak brightness creating a vivid, bold picture with spectacular clarity.
