ENO BAME Chorus Fellowship Job Description

English National Opera is holding auditions Our ambition is to achieve greater diversity in the areas of Black to recruit 4 ENO BAME chorus fellows for a and Minority Ethnic (BAME) representation. This forms part of fixed term contract of 9 months. Key Duties:

• Rehearse, sing, perform (including acting and dancing) and understudy (including all staging requirements) for choruswork to includechorusparts and Baylis Programme.

• Prepare / learn music as necessary and appropriate; rehearse music as required during musicand / or production / stage calls.

• Rehearse with the Director (including Staff Directors, Choreographers, Fight Arrangers etc) in rehearsal rooms, studios, on stage, or at any other venue as defined in 4 below.

• Rehearse/perform in the London area (i.e. at the London Coliseum) or at any other venue withina 20 mile radius of CharingCross.

• Undertake recording/s for audio/visual use in ENO liveperformances.

• Wear costume, wigs and make - up when and as directed at stage rehearsals and performances; wear rehearsal/practice costumes as necessary at production rehearsals. • • Maintain his/hervoice to an optimum professional standard.
