With 109 yards on Sunday against , Elliott would join Pro Football Hall of Famer (1,096) and (1,081) as the only players in NFL history to rush for 1,000 yards in their first nine career games.

THE 300 CLUB: San Diego quarterback completed 24 of 33 passes for 275 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions for a 117.6 rating in the Chargers’ 43-35 victory over Tennessee last week. With two touchdown passes on Sunday against Miami, Rivers would become the ninth player in NFL history with 300 career passing touchdowns.

Rivers (298 career touchdown passes) and quarterback (306), who were both selected in the first round of the 2004 NFL , can become the second quarterback duo from the same draft class to each reach 300 touchdown passes.
