WHAT TO LOOK FOR – WEEK 16

UNPREDICTABLE NFL: With two weeks remaining in the 2015 regular season, 18 teams remain in contention for a trip to 50. Only three teams – Arizona (NFC West), Carolina (NFC South) and New England (AFC East) – have clinched their divisions and six playoff spots are still to be determined.

CONSECUTIVE CAROLINA: The (14-0) are the fourth team in the Super Bowl era to start a season 14-0 and have won 18 consecutive regular-season games dating back to last season.

With a win on Sunday at , the Panthers would join Indianapolis (23 games from 2008-09) and New England (21 from 2006-08) as the only teams in NFL history to win at least 19 consecutive regular-season games.

RECEPTION PARTY: Below is a sampling of reception milestones that can be reached Sunday.

 Atlanta (118) and Pittsburgh wide receiver (116) rank first and second, respectively, in receptions this season.

With six catches on Sunday against Carolina, Jones can surpass (123 in 1995) and (123 in 2009) for the third-most catches in a season in NFL history. Jones has at least six catches in 11 of 14 games this season.

With four catches on Sunday against Baltimore, Brown can join Pro Football Hall of Famer (1994- 95) as the only players in NFL history with back-to-back 120-catch seasons. Brown’s 129 catches last season were the second-most ever (, 143 in 2002).

SACK ATTACK: Green Bay linebacker JULIUS PEPPERS has 135 career sacks and ranks 10th all-time since sacks became an official statistic in 1982.

With at least a half-sack on Sunday against Arizona, Peppers would become the fifth player to have nine or more seasons with 10+ sacks since sacks became an official statistic in 1982.

MILE-HIGH MONDAY: On Monday night, the (10-4) will host Cincinnati (11-3). The Broncos’ appearance this week marks their 24th consecutive season with at least one Monday night game (1992-present), the longest current streak in the NFL. Oakland holds the record with 28 consecutive seasons appearing on Monday Night Football (1970-97).

Denver (68) also ranks fourth for the most appearances on MNF among NFL teams.

WEEK 16: COWBOYS AT BILLS

The 2015 NFL regular-season schedule features 19 Super Bowl rematches as part of the year-long celebration of Super Bowl 50, which will be played on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

In Week 16, the Bills will host the Cowboys on Sunday in a rematch of Super Bowls XXVII & XXVIII, which the Cowboys won 52-17 and 30-13, respectively.

Rematches are part of the NFL’s On The Fifty platform, designed to link the past 49 Super Bowls with this year’s game and honor the teams, players, coaches, fans and communities that have been a part of those games.
