For the schedule, stats, and standings go to SuperSeriesAAA.com Tournament Preview (Youth1 Hockey) – The St. Louis Super98 Series will easily have some of the best teams competing in the tournament, including four teams who were ranked within the top 10 in the country last year. The event will take place from September 28th-30th and will be at Hardee’s Iceplex in Chesterfield, . Here’s a closer look at the teams competing this weekend.

St. Louis Blues – The Blues (9-0-1), who were ranked second in the country last year, are riding a five-game . They will face the Chicago Mission, whom they tied 2-2 earlier this month, on Sunday. The Blues roster includes forwards Luke Martin, Trent Frederic, Brandon Puricelli, Willie Canfield, Zach Fizer, Logan Brown, Josh Dunne, Tyler Watson, Zach Solow and Jared Preete, defensemen Steve Lockwood, Timmy Makowski, Ty Farmer, Cody Foppe, Evgeniy Shomin and Michael Joyce and Joseph Woll and Tommy Nappier.

Chicago Mission – The fourth-ranked team in the country for the 2011-2012 season, the Mission (2-4-1) have had a bit of a rough start mainly because they have played tremendous competition so far this season. The Mission will likely be battling the Blues for a spot at USA Hockey Nationals. The Mission roster includes defensemen Samuel Sterne, Brett Callahan, Ryan Carlson, Alexander Green and Jake Toporowski, forwards Cameron Teamor, Luke Sammons, Brendan Schultz, Michael Cali, Wei Zhong, Daniel Chang, Dominick Mersch, Martan Yelle, Michael Pleshar, Nicholas Caprio, William Knierim and Hugh Mcging and goalies Vincent Purpura and Myles Hektor.

Colorado Thunderbirds - The Thunderbirds closed out last season ranked seventh in the country, going 46-10-5, a run that included winning the inaugural SuperSeries Cup. The addition of several talented forwards should ensure that Colorado remains one of the top teams at this level. The Thunderbirds roster includes defensemen Anea Ferrario, Charlie Kiefer, Keegan Mantaro, Jovan Zimmerman, Bryan Yoon and Cal Foote, forwards Trey Bagwell, Josiah Slavin, Brandon Yi, Trystan Isenhour, Brian Hawkinson, Dillon Scala, Ashton Fry, Jaden Anderson, Max Gerlach and Zach Walker and goalies Austin Park and Douglas Dendy.

Indiana Jr. Ice - Compiling a 40-22-7 record last year, the Ice finished No. 10 in the nation last season. This team was one of the nations most under rated last season. After winning a Tier 2 national title as Pee Wees, the Jr. Ice moved to Tier 1 last season and proved they belonged with the best. The Ice roster includes forwards Riley Doyon, Jack Knipscheer, Joey Barone, Sam Swanson, Bob Fritsch, Jack MacNab, Sam Ruffin, Will Schlagenhauf, Ethan Stahlhuth and Justin Whited, defensemen Darek Davis, Matt Sawyer, Reece Morris, Zack Lauderback, Bryant Gunn and Jackson Koblick and goalies Nate Funk and Tyler Matthews.

New – The Devils (9-1-0) are a very tough team to play against. They have a tremendous defense and one of the best goaltending tandems in the country. Due to injuries they only have four defensemen so they have to hope that they do not get worn down at this high level of play. The Devils roster includes goalies Peter Negron and Logan Kramsky, defensemen Ryan Bogan, Andrew Petrillo, Chris Helmlinger, Brendan Less and Zach Berzolla and forwards Chet Morgis, Jack Chatwin, Danny Farr, Matthew Lavalette, Alex Borowiec, Sam Field, Thomas Lamacchia, Tim Clifton, Augie Burkhardt, Michael Nisky and Derek Contessa.

Philadelphia Little Flyers – The Flyers are a very good team that not a lot of people know about. This group has a great defense and some very big, strong forwards that can make a big difference in games. This will be a huge test for them. The Flyers roster includes defensemen Zachary Vendetti, Steven Bray, Branson King, Ryan Lauk and Alex Wilkins, forwards Derek Golembrosky, Andy Iehle, Evan Carroll, Alex Peterson, Noah Bradley, Joey Kubachka, Demitrios Stefanou, Eric Lauk, Bryce Witman, Cody Liguori, Tyler Riddle, Benjamin Griffith and Jack McDonough and goaltenders Joseph Giacobbo and Jacob Snyder.
