If you haven’t stopped by the new Community Center at 7890 Richmond Tappahannock Highway, you should! Between the hours of 8:30am-6pm, Monday through Friday, citizens are welcome to come try out the comfy sofas while you watch tv and enjoy a free cup of coffee while using the wifi or reading the local paper. The former pharmacy building has been remodeled into a spacious center for anyone in the community to come enjoy and even bring your children who may play ping-pong, foosball, air hockey or arcade basketball, or read books from the library started by Leigh-Anne Previs as a girl scout project in honor of Michelle Vest. Several activities for children will be offered this fall including the After-School Rec program, as well as the Fall Soccer League. After-School Rec is a recreational program that strives to reinforce healthy behavior skills, positive attitudes, and study skills learned in from August-October and consist of one school.
