Be it a news- paper, a book or on the internet, reading is a vital part of education beyond the school day. Many programs in schools see funding cut; libraries suffer immensely. We need your help. Please donate a book for a child in kinder- garten to eighth grade. Book Collection Promotes Children’s Literacy Fostering a Love for Reading! The Delaware County Press Club in partnership with the Southeast Delco and William Penn School Districts announces a children’s literacy book drive. The Press Club is coordinating a book drive to benefit students in area schools. Donation bins for new books of varying genres and topics for students in grades K through eighth are located at selected drop-off locations throughout the County including: the Delaware County Bar Association, 335 W. Front Street, Media; Vinyl Revival, 35-37 N. Lans- downe Avenue; Echo Hill Farm, 1357 Westtown Thornton Road, West Chester; Valley View Golf, 4600 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square; and at Press Club events through the end of the 2021-2022 season.
