Preliminary report for winter navigation period in the NSR waters from 1st January to 30th June 2018.

The main directions of vessel traffic:

1. Export of crude oil from the terminal The Gate. [ 201 voyages]

2. Transportation of container cargos to / from the port of Dudinka [ 70 voyages]

3. The port of . Transportation of gas condensate. [ 32 voyages]

4. The port of Sabetta. Transportation of general cargos. [ 65 voyages]

5. . [ 130 voyages]

6. The port of Sabetta. LNG carriers. [ 71 voyages]

7. Miscellaneous. [ 4 voyages] Crude oil export from Arctic Gate terminal.

Loaded tankers made altogether 101 voyages from Mys Kamenniy to Murmansk. This number does not include 100 no-load return voyages from Murmansk to Mys Kamenniy. Thus, the contribution of this project to the total number of voyages during the winter period was 201 voyages. The export was carried out by 2 tankers of ice class Arc 5 (Ice Condor и Ice Eagle) and 6 tankers of ice class Arc 7. In direction from Mys Kamenniy to Murmansk went 21 ships in January, 16 – in February, 16 – in March, 15 - in April, 16 – in May, and 17 ships. On average, 16.8 vessels a month were shipped from the terminal in the winter period. General cargo was shipped to Sabetta mainly from Arkhangelsk by vessels of ice class Arc 5 and Arc 7. All the vessels have Russian flag. Total amount of voyages from Arkhangelsk is 19, and if we add the voyages back (Sabetta – Arkhangelsk) it accounts 41 voyages. 2 voyages were from Murmansk to Sabetta, from Sabetta to Murmansk – 5. Total: 48 voyages.

Shipments to / from Dudinka port.

Dudinka port has regular transportations in winter period to Murmansk and Arkhangelsk and single shipments to European ports. Altogether 70 voyages were made to / from Dudinka during winter season.

This number does not include calls and 1 voyage of tanker Yenisey to Finnish port Porvoo. All the ships are under Russian flag, belonged to Norilsk Nickel and have ice class Arc 7 (excluding vessel Arktika-1, that made only one voyage from Arkhangelsk to Dudinka).

14 voyages from Arkhangelsk to Dudinka were done by container ships of ice class Arc 7 and 1 voyage by container ship Arktika-1 of ice class Arc 5 belonged to Reskom Tyumen Company.

From Murmansk to Dudinka container ships of Arc 7 ice class made 18 voyages and 2 voyages were made by tankers of Arc 7 ice class. On the way back from Dudinka to Murmansk 35 voyages were done, among them 2 tankers. During the period January- March ships mainly used the route via Kara Gate, but in period April – June they went along Cape Zhelaniya. 1. Icebreakers.
