Tour Descriptions St. Isaac’s Cathedral 3 hours The Cathedral, designed by the French architect Montferrand, is one of the finest monumentsof the XIXth century, the former principal cathedral of the Rus- sian capital. The largest cathedral in the city can accommodate about 13000. The interior is richly adorned with marble, malachite, lapis lasuli, and porphyry. Approximately 220 pounds of precious metal were used for gilding its magnificent golden dome.

The Church of Our Savior on the Spilled Blood 3 hours The Temple of the Resurrection of the Christ, better known as the Church of Our Savior on the Spilled Blood, stands on the bank of the , in the very centre of the city. Its 5-cupola building, designed in neo-Russian style by the architect Alfred Parland, is a superb example of Russian architecture and monumental and decorative art of the late 19th century. Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts Half day The Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts is located in the old part of Moscow, near the Kremlin, on Volkhonka . It was established in the late 19th century using pieces from the collections of the Cabinet of Fine Arts and Antiquities in the Moscow University. Today, the museum comprises about 5 000 paintings, 350 000 drawings and engravings, 100 000 coins and medals as well as numerous sculptures, manuscripts and other art objects.

Peter & Paul Fortress Half day Peter and Paul Fortress was founded by in 1703. Besides the ancient fortifications, one of the great attractions is Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral, built by the architect Trezini in 1733, with the burial vault of Peter the Great and other Russian tsars. Soon after its foundation the fortress became the first political prison in Russia reserved for the most important state prisoners. The museum in Trubetskoy bastion prison is open for public.

Peterhof Grand Palace & Lower Park Half day Peterhof is often called “Russian Versailles” or “The capital of Fountains” is probably the most famous and spectacular imperial estate in St. Petersburg, a town of parks, palaces and fountains. It is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland. Peterhof was the favorite summer estate of Pater the Great and for a long period of time it was the official residence of the Romanov dynasty. The lower park is situated between the Gulf of Finland and the Grand Palace. It is famous for the world’s largest system of fountains, spread under the parks lands.

Catherine’s Palace & Park in Pushkin 5 hours A small town of Pushkin is located at 25 km south of St. Petersburg. Historically, the estate was called "Saarskaya Myza", but later, in 1724, when the Russian Empress Catherine I had ordered to built here a palace, and to lay a park, it was renamed to Tsarskoe Selo(Royal Village). The unique architectural ensemble of Pushkin is world known for its elegant palaces and pavilions, landscape parks and ponds. Many world famous and higly- talented russian archi- tects, like Rastrelli, Rinaldi, Cameron, Zemtsov, Chevakinskiy, Neelov were invited to work here, and set here their’s beautiful creations.
