Presented a paper titled "Determinants of Mergers and Acquisitions Targeting Africa" 9th African Finance Journal Conference 19th-20th April 2012, Nairobi Kenya.

Presented the Final Report titled „„Interest Rate Pass-through and Monetary Policy Regimes in South Africa‟ during a Bi-annual Research Workshop 3 organised by the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) from 31 to 5 June 2009 in Mombasa, Kenya.

OTHER RESEARCH WORK Determinants of Manufactured Exports in Kenya (1971-1997): A Cointegration and Error Correction Approach. Result: Best M.A thesis in the department in 1999 for the Collaborative Masters of Arts Program in Africa (CMAP).

Attended a research workshop on Interview Techniques and Analysis of Interviews organised by the Winter School of University of Johannesburg 27th June – 1st July 2011. Trainer: Prof Claudia Heinzmann University of Basel- Switzerland.

Participated in an intensive two-week Survey Methodology Technical Workshop organised by African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) 1st – 12th March 2010 in Nairobi Kenya. Trainer: Prof Remigius Oostendorp of VU University Amsterdam- Netherlands.

Participated in a Panel Data Training Workshop organised by Economic Research Southern Africa [ERSA] training done by Prof Stephen Bond Oxford University and Mans Soderbom of Gothenburg University held from 12th -16th January 2009, at University.
