Today we welcome the players, management, officials and supporters of Buckie Thistle to Bellslea Park for our Press & Journal Highland League match.

The past seven days have been good in that we picked up victories against Rothes and Deveronvale but also the fact that in doing so we gave debuts to three of our U17 squad, Bailey Simpson, Bruce Mair and Kane McCrory. Further to that we seen Dean Cowie make his first appearance of the I have no doubt the game today will be a cracking season after successful knee surgery during the summer. affair. Both league games last year finished 2- semi-final tie against Cove Rangers here at Bellslea Park. 2 and I imagine it will be just as tight again today. The game should actually be Cove’s home match but as Hopefully it is the Broch who sneak the points. they are without a ground this season they have agreed to

Graeme Stewart was a winner when he played and will be the same as a manager so he and his players will be coming here today with plenty to prove so it’s just our luck that it will be against us. That was really a freak

result which happens from time to time and we all know that Buckie are a decent side so we will need to be at our very best to get something from the game.

You recorded a great victory against Deveronvale in the Aberdeenshire Cup what pleased you most about the performance?

Obviously the result was the most pleasing thing. Cup games are all about results and progressing to the next round but I must say the effort and work rate that the players applied to the game was great. This game was more like a Broch performance where we worked hard and as a team and helped our team mates out. I have told the guys that we need to make sure we work hard at closing players down and winning the ball back as our ability will then show once we have the ball. Overall I think we deserved the win as we were the more dominant side. I don't think Joe had to make a save so I am happy with the clean sheet and we move on to the Dean Cowie made a return from injury in the second next round which will be another tough test but to win half.
