WINNERS UNCOVERED Giuliana DePandi Hosts The Biore® Skincare and Gen Art Uncover/Discover Winner’s Party

Earlier this year, Bioré® skincare and Gen Art set out to uncover and discover talented young women all across the country in the genres of film, , music and art. Over 1,300 women entered and more than 16,000 consumers voted for their favorites. From there, an esteemed panel of industry experts narrowed it down to one grand prize winner in each category. Now these four winners have been revealed…

Recently E! News Live’s Giuliana DePandi hosted the official Biore® skincare and Gen Art Uncover/Discover Winner’s Party in New York City. Uncovered that evening were the following grand prize winners:

For Film: Daphne Lambrinou from Los Angeles A graduate of the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California and the American College of Greece in Athens, Daphne has directed several short films in and out of the . She currently works at Jerry Bruckheimer Film in Post Production.

For Fashion: Ardistia Dwiasri from New York City A native of Indonesia, Ardistia holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in industrial and manufacturing engineering from Northeastern University as well as a degree from Parsons. She has worked with Diane Von Furstenberg, the Gap, Ann Taylor, and . She decided to launch her own signature collection in Spring/Summer 2007 and her Fall 2007 line is currently available at Searle in New York City, Akira in Chicago and boutiques in Atlanta and Houston.

For Music: Erica Elektra (one half of the group Hearts of Palm UK) from Los Angeles The daughter of a Russian piano teacher, Erica Elektra started playing piano at the age of three and writing her own music at the age of sixteen. After moving to Los Angeles, she decided to take her music in a different direction by ditching traditional instruments for a sequencer and synthesizer. She recruited her best friend Ambi-D to form Hearts of Palm UK, a rising band that has been called promising by the and is known for their own brand of electro-indie-pop style.

For Art: Tracy Silva Barbosa from New York City Tracy attended The Massachusetts College of Art where she entered the sculpture department and majored in glass. After graduation, she moved to San Francisco to work for John Lewis Glass, whom she worked closely with on a variety of projects including the Oklahoma City Memorial. Today she lives in New York where she paints and sculpts for an increasingly enthusiastic contingent of collectors.

Each grand prize winner will receive a $20,000 grant to pursue her dreams as well as Biore® skincare products to allow her to uncover her best complexion.
