The Bronze Age and more in south west Funen:

Avernakø lies in the south Funen archipelago. The island is very

3.7 metres. A spring rises from the bottom and approximately
15% of the lake’s running water is spring water.

Five days’ cycling around south Funen
Day 1
A long cycle trip of about 40 kilometres. Start from the courtyard, go down Hornegyden to Falsled. Take the road numbered 65 through a very wooded hill and past Søbosø. By the lake ride towards Vester Hæsinge and on to Trente Mølle, Ny Stenderup and further on to Svanninge Bakker, through
Svanninge itself to Grubbe Mølle and then back along Horne Five days’ walking around south Funen Landevej.
Day 2 Day 1 Around Sinebjerg. A trip of roughly 15 kilometres. Start from A little walk of just 5 kilometres. This is down to the beach at Lundsgaard goes past the church and take the road to Tornæs Hoved / Horne Krogen, going down Strandvej just off Dyreborg. Travel through Bjerne village up the hill and turn left Hornelandevej. to Dyreborg through the woods and past the harbour. You could make a detour to Knold. After, ride on to Sinebjerg beach and follow the gravel road for 2 to 3 kilometres and turn towards Day 2 Horne again.
