Ben started his playing career at Coventry and then headed west to join Plymouth Albion. He’s also played for , and Blues. Herbie Stupple, 29, is Plymouth Albion’s man-mountain of a captain as he stands at 6’ 3” and weighs in at almost 120kg’s.

Herbie is in his tenth season at Brickfields and his fifth as their inspirational skipper. Commenting on his re-appointment ahead of the current season, the big number 8 said, “It’s quite a privilege; I’ve been doing it for four years and I really enjoy it.
