Travel The Danish schools do not have mini buses. Commuting in Copenhagen is either by bike (33%), public transport (33%) or car – so watch out for bikes everywhere and anywhere in traffic!

We hope you will be fine using the bus system. We have drawn up detailed travel plans – and if you need additional plans or want to find your way from anywhere, go to www.rejseplanen.dk (there is UK language version) or the app ”rejseplan” on android or iphone.

Tickets: We suggest one of these options which you buy at DSB ticket office at the airport, terminal 3 upon arrival:

- 10 trips ‘click cards’ which you click at the beginning of each journey. NB: You all share this/these card(s). You click the total number of necessary zones for each journey (number of zones x number of people) and you are then free to jump on and off buses and trains for the next hour:

At the airport DSB ticket sale: Buy 3 beige 4-zones cards (250 DKK) and 3 pink 8-zones cards (465 DKK). Each school group gets a beige and a pink card to be shared by the group. Total price: 2.140 DKK.

- Flexcard for 7 days covering zones 1, 2 & 3: Buy one flexcard per person, price DKK 302. Total price 3.624 DKK. Will give you unlimited transportation in Copenhagen incl the airport.
