For many families, though, language can become an obstacle. Clients who do not speak English as their first language often struggle to find resources for their Diaper Chart______7 families. This guide is designed to enhance communication and reduce barriers between you and your clients. Outerwear______9 In partnership with the Ligature Studio/Design Practicum course at the University of Dayton, this guide was created with you and your client in mind. Clothing______11 It is visual. Hand-drawn illustrations are provided to help you clearly understand and convey the needs of your client so we can provide the items that benefit them most. Clothing Size Charts______14
It offers translations of common phrases to help families understand what is being asked of them and to ensure the correct information is being communicated about Shoes/Socks______17 their children and family.
It is durable. You can write on the laminated pages with a dry/wet erase marker. Shoe Size Chart______19 The spiral binding will not chip, crack, or corrode over time, and it can be wiped down for cleaning after use. Infant/Toddler______21 It is portable. The guide is sized to fit easily in a bag or purse so it can used on the go as you meet with clients.
