I tried to barter for sewing services before I went to Burning Man, but no success. I did make and cast medallions that I brought to gift in my camp and elsewhere. Now I've been looking for just this idea to make a gift for my wife to sit out on the porch at the beach for sunrise with a cup of coffee. Two layers - inside a sherpa fleece and outside a polar fleece so she'll be toasty even with the wind blowing. I might have to make a second larger one, too. I can understand reluctance for "gifting" sewing, depending on the project. These were sort of a beast to make, though part of that, for us, was the process of figuring it out and making a bunch of mistakes along the way! Your sherpa fleece lined version sounds great! I might use that idea if I ever make one again. It would sure be toasty- good for playa evenings, etc... probably too hot for inside. Your medallions sound like a good deal of effort as well! I should add that these adult onesie's are much easier to find today than when we made them. If I had the option of buying one that I liked rather than making it, I'd probably go that route! Best of wishes! David - I sought out pattern designs after buying a "highly" rated adult Plush onesie on Amazon. Wasn't plush or warm at all as the material was surprisingly thin. So , like you, DIY to get it the way you want it.

Adult Onesie / Jumpsuit Pattern: Page 12 The BM medallion was a cool project. I taught myself enough about sketchup tools and conversion software and a fellow Burner CNC guy cut out an aluminum MASTER for me. Then I made multiple mold copies in Silicone and poured them out of resin with a little powdered limestone mixed in. I painted and aged them to look weathered and a bunch came out nicely and was an appreciated GIFT on the playa. You don't mention the process you took to go from initial bunny suit to the great looking fitted design. Is the fitted end design reflected in the downloadable PDF you provide us? I'm sorry that wasn't clear for you. Yes, the PDF pattern we supply here is the pattern we used for our more fitted pattern you see us wearing in purple and green. The "bunny suit" was the first run effort to check the actual fit from the vintage pattern we started with...and we made a few further adjustments pulling in or letting out where we felt it needed. Hello I'm trying to get this to fit a kid... Do you have an easy way to print it in their size? Thanks!

Hey, just wondering how to download the pattern? It comes up as a blocked plug in...

Hi, I'm planning to make a costume and I would need to make the waist of this wider, how could I edit the pattern to get what I want? Thank you very much It's very late, but in case it's useful, I'd split the pattern from armpit to ankle as straight & centered as I could & add my needed enlargement there. That said, it's best to work from your actual measurements & compare them to the laid out pattern to determine how much to add & where to add it. I might also opt to do a seam where I split the pattern & bow it outward very gently on each side where I needed the extra room and you then also bow slightly on your front seam (pin a LOT when sewing that type of curve & go slow). That is what I did when modifying patterns for pregnancy. I made a set of 3 unicorn using your pattern - and fleece or fake fur. We are 3 grade 6 teachers and wore them for a up day at school. Thanks for the easy to follow instructions.

You look awesome! Thanks for sharing your efforts. I'm certain you were popular! Glad to have helped. I'm gonna use this pattern to create a cow-boy/vintage style pyjama ( with the back poo-cket and front pee-cket), with buttons or lacing in front. Picture at the end. Promise. :) Can't wait! Sounds fun!

Do you have any recommendations for how to adjust the pattern to fit someone 6 foot, would you cut and increase the length from the grey doted line? Yes, the dotted lines are for length adjustments of those parts. You've got the right idea. Good luck! A little late to post, but I used this for my Halloween costume and now I wear it everyday! This pattern is a perfect fit, I'm 5'5" 150lbs and I love it! Thanks for the post, it was very easy to follow

Adult Onesie / Jumpsuit Pattern: Page 13 That's awesome! You look fantastic! Your modifications are spectacular. Thanks so much for sharing! Johnster000, that dino version looks awesome! My boyfriend has been wanting a dino onesie for ages, so your version provides some great inspiration! David, great tutorial! I was having a hard time finding a pattern with a cut I liked, so was thrilled to find yours, which obviously looks so cool and up to date. Thanks for doing the leg work! I'm going to make one for my boyfriend who is 6' and bigger build than you guys... unfortunately can't do a fitting since it's a surprise, but I think with his measurements I'll be able to alter (aka fudge) it up to his size. Pics to follow soon! You're welcome for the tutorial. Johnster000's modifications are indeed awesome! Good luck with yours and please share the results! I'd love to modify this to include feet. I've always kinda wanted a set of footie jammies, and the few places I've seen them in my size, they're hideously expensive. It would be helpful if you included some dimensions on the pattern diagram. It would let someone know it was printed at the correct scale, and it would make it easier to modify the pattern to fit other size humans. Maybe just add a regular grid to the diagram. Good idea. As long as the printer is set to 100% scale, there shouldn't be any error in scale, but I've uploaded a new PDF with a scale verifying indicator. Thank you and good luck! :) lmao..... 100% scale

I know it sounds funny, but in addition to using a large format "blueprint" printer at FedEx Office, etc... you can actually print this at home using the tile function. More work, but not an unreasonable number of sheets to piece together. What about a drop seat for toileting?

That would be a simple modification for this if you wanted. I'm not sure these are very practical for that function, flap or no flap. Very nice. I like Onesies, the only problem is everyone who makes them seem to forget about number "Twosies." Flaps are cool! It would simple enough to add one.

How did Gerber come to c'right a name for a piece of clothing, anyway? Check all the spelling(s) copyrighted -- sometimes the filings cover just about every possibility.
