Lasciati alle spalle gli outfit sanremesi, è ora tempo di mostrare sul palco dell’Ahoy Arena di Rotterdam, dove si tiene l’edizione 2021 della manifestazione canora europea, di che stoffa, letteralmente, sono fatti i vincitori della kermesse italiana. I quattro rocker si sono mostrati in outfit matchy-matchy (che li contraddistingue) avvolti da pelle laminata con dettagli platino a incrocio. Una manciata di borchie ha completato la mise che ha lasciato gli uomini a pettorali scoperti e Victoria con porzioni di décolleté in mostra. Il risultato, opera dello stylist Nick Cerioni? Very hot. Rock e sexy come sempre, assolutamente perfetti, con la loro estetica glam, per lo show che riprende in grande stile dopo la stop forzato dello scorso anno causa Covid. Da sempre filo conduttore dell’Eurovision, per quanto riguarda gli outfit dei cantanti partecipanti, è un’immagine camp nella quale more is more è la chiave couture dei look. Perché sfilano sotto gli occhi sì i trend del momento, ma portati all’eccesso, esagerati a volte. C’è chi arriva sotto forma di un angelo, con tanto di ali XXL come Tix della Norvegia, e chi , come Senhit di San Marino (il cui styling è supervisionato da Simone Guidarelli) si ricopre di piume dalla mille sfumature, creata dalla Sartoria Arrigo Costumi. E poi un tripudio di argento e cristalli, zeppe anni 90, power suit in nuance vitaminiche abbinati alle sneakers, profusione di tulle e volant, guanti e hairdressing che stanno vivendo il loro momento d’oro. Ci si mette in testa letteralmente di tutto: corone, foulard, forcine, catene, parrucche, altrimenti si opta per trecce, treccine pagina 33 / 34 e cornrows. E anche se qualcuno in abito scuro c’è, il nero è acceso da paillettes o movimentato da plissé e trasparenze. Anche la Regina Maxima d’Olanda, seduta tra il pubblico ad assistere allo spettacolo si è adeguata al mood e non passa inosservata, abbagliando con un abito giallo limone abbellito da applicazioni 3D.   • Guida a Eurovision: Europe Shine a Light
    La prima volta dell’Eurovision Song Contest annullato L’edizione 2020 dell’Eurovision Song Contest non andrà in scena. Era in programma il 12, 14 e 16 maggio alla Ahoy Arena di Rotterdam, nei Paesi Bassi, ma la pandemia da Coronavirus che partendo dalla Cina ha coinvolto prima l’Italia, poi tutta Europa ed il resto del Mondo, ha portato l’EBU e la tv pubblica olandese all’unica decisione possibile: cancellare la manifestazione per quest’anno. Non è mai successo, nella storia del concorso, che sia saltata un'edizione, nemmeno quando problemi tecnici ed economici, in passato, ne avevano messo in forte dubbio lo svolgimento. Una decisione sofferta, ovviamente, perché i motori erano già caldi e la messa a punto dell’area, con la costruzione del palco, era ormai prossima; tanti i fan lasciati delusi. L’EBU ha spiegato che non sarebbe stato possibile mettere in pratica nessuna delle altre ipotesi: uno show da remoto, oltre a causare evidenti squilibri tecnici fra i vari paesi, non avrebbe avuto lo stesso appeal dell’evento, fortemente aggregativo. Per gli stessi motivi è stata scartata l’idea di andare in onda senza pubblico, mentre un rinvio a settembre o in un qualunque altro mese, oltre a dare meno tempo alla tv vincitrice per organizzare l’edizione 2021, non avrebbe comunque garantito lo svolgimento dell’evento vista l’evoluzione imprevedibile della pandemia. Allo stesso tempo, l’EBU ha dato parere favorevole alla designazione per l’Eurovision 2021 degli stessi interpreti scelti per il 2020: non tutte le emittenti hanno fatto questa scelta. Tutte le canzoni invece dovranno essere nuove, perché resta valida la regola per la quale i brani non devono essere stati pubblicati antecedentemente al 1° settembre dell’anno precedente all’edizione.
